None of our actual defendes bothered their arses to show up in defence today, I guess Brown and Stokesy thought someone should.
Jellyfish's goal * me off. Carbon copy of the first goal against Madrid. Do we learn? Why, after that game, did we not go back to the training ground with Lenny saying 'ok, we conceded an easily preventable goal, so let's work on our set piece defending so it doesn't happen on Sunday'?

Which is quite a daunting prospect if we continue to play like this.

    Grand old team
Is there a team in world football who make as many schoolboy mistakes as we do ???

Am sorry but our manager is naive - changes the team for them (are they barcelona) ???

Waiting on his usual Strachanesque comments that we were "Brilliant ete etc"

First of all the points are gone, not going to cry about it.the bottom line is the better team won. Nobody can argue that.

So let's look at the facts

First thing that's obvious,is there team and our team, there isn't much in it.but look at the two benches today, every player on our bench is possible first team players.there squad is thin, poor and inexperienced. We then therefore have the better options both before and during the game.and we don't use it well enough.

As a poster righly pointed out, mulgrew in the second half was a red card waiting to happen.he should have been replaced.. I think lenny must see hooper and stokes as his main strike pair. Stokes must get the nod ahead of sammy in the big games.

Ledley imo is a must,he has to be in the first eleven. He keeps the team balanced and can control matches,we missed him so much today, and lenny must learn from that.

I wasn't impressed by either foster in goals,(we should have made signing a quality keeper priorty in the summer) but we didn't,so we move on.

Think we also learned that kelvin wilson isn't the dominant defender we hoped.to be fair wilsons has been decent this season, and is our best centre back.but we need to sign a dominant experienced centre half to partner wilson in january.untill then I'd suggest wilson and mulgrew start at centre half

Where to begin, lets face it 20mins apart we were shocking, a fluke of a goal and one piece of great play papered over the cracks at half time, if we all sit back at look at this game calmly we have to admit we were lucky to get away with that score line. (* that was painfull saying that)

What worries me is I've spent the last three years saying we're the better side, dodgey decisions and luck apart we'd have won the league.

Well today I've seen the light. I still believe we're technically the better side. I still believe we play the better football, but here's the shining light I saw today for the first time, technique does not make a TEAM. You need hunger, desire, fight, passion grit and want. Unfortunatley our biggest rivals have all the latter in abundance even if they're still looking at the word technique like its a crossword clue.

It takes all these atributes to be the best TEAM, unfortunatley thats exactly why we've been second best the last three years, and it aint lookin good folks, funny thing is our three amigos in the dug out had all these qualitys in abundance, I guess the problem is the one thing these players need to become a TEAM you just cant teach.

    one sad hoop.

lenny is too stubborn, some of the blame our CBs are getting are actually his fault, his zonal defensive scheme isnt working

If this happens, then Lennon will get roasted like a chicken, as people will then know what caused today's defeat. Personally, I think today's bad game was caused by prepotence, thinking 2 quick goals would finish Rangers off. Tin hat on, but I think Majstorović should've been playing, at least as a sub for Wilson. More eager to punt it out when we are pressured. 2 times we didn't punt properly, and 2 goals came.

You will not be on that often then ?:56:

We are quite often mediocre, though get a result.

That does not make Lennon a good manager.

Competition wise we have not exactly been successful under Lennon.

Cammy i donth think this game should be put behind us.. Lenny need to look at all the mistakes and attitudes. His too. Arses need kicked. This needs to looked at for it to never happen again. Our club deserves alittle better thn to be pumlled from a less than mediocre orc side.
