Tough game and some tough decisions.

    I would go

    Forster
    Wilson Wilson Mulgrew El kuduri
    Brown Kayal Ki Ledley
    Stokes Hooper.

    But

i Would not be fussed if we went

    Forster
    Matthews Wilson Mulgrew El kuduri
    Forrest Kayal Ledlel Commons.
    Stokes Hooper
Harsh on Ki but commons is class just not playing well at the moment. He was a real star in the derby games last season.

I am one of the minority who have stuck up for big Sammy but without bougherra and with the current hun back 4 I think Stokes will be ok. If not change it.

After the way we played today I don't think we should change, and I'm confident Lenny will feel the same way. Any changes which would have been in his mind would be to bring in Brown and Commons for Forrest and Ledley, both of whom showed today that they very much deserve to be in the starting XI. Based on the huns performance today we really should beat them. However we need to not give the ref a chance to give them dodgy decisions.

    8.S.Brown(c) 33.Kayal 16.Ledley

    14.Bangura 88.Hooper 9.Samaras

    Subs:
    24.Zaluska(GK), 2.Matthews, 10.Stokes, 15.Commons,
    18.Ki, 49.Forrest & 67.Wanyama.

Maybe Lenny might try something different for this Old Firm, Sammy always performs well in them so I think his starting role is a giving & Hooper usually starts, but the reason I have also put Bangura in is because of his strength & his pace, playing Hooper through the middle with both Sammy & Mo supporting could work & have 3 good players in the midfield, its harsh to drop Ki to the bench but I think that could work if we played a 4-3-3 system against them.

Forrest is the sort of player who goes missing against the Huns, especially at Ibrox. Broony has to be in there.

Samaras better not be anywhere near the starting 11.

Surely,Surely it is time to unleash an attacking team against this mob!?

Stokes HAS to play. It would be criminal for him to be dropped and he would rightly be raging.

    I'd go with

    Forster
    Wilson Wilson Mulgrew BEK
    Forrest Ki Kayal Ledley
    Hooper Stokes

we have the fire power to finish them off. I feel we give them too much respect at times, playing 1 up top or flooding the midfield with Centre Mids.Like us last year they have a good few players making their old firm (yuck) debut . a perfect time to go attacking at ibrox..IMO

    2-1 good guys

    hahahahahaha just went onto the hun forum for a laugh (forgive me of my sins) and read this amazing post on a thread about who they should play in the OF game;

"I agree, misplaced passes will fox the tarrier * into thinking we're not very good."

they dont have to misplace passes for me to believe that!:56:

Three games at Ibrox under Lennon and still unbeaten and I can't see that changing on Sunday, although they are still grinding out results against the other SPL sides so far, they look worse than what they were last season from what I have seen of them and we done very well in the games against them last season, so there is absolutely nothing to fear from them on Sunday.

In the two Ibrox league games last season we played quite smart by defending first and foremost and letting Rangers come on to us and it worked in the first game as we caught them out with one long pass from Ledley to Samaras which resulted in a goal and we went on to win the game. It also worked in the second game as we should have won that one also, we stood up to the pressure they put on us in the first half and then we took over in the second half when they tired, we got into a great position to win that game and if Samaras had of scored THAT penalty then we probably would have.

Rangers are a team that is better when playing on the counter attack, which is probably why they have a good away record in the SPL as the home teams are usually more adventurous against them which then gives Rangers the opportunity to play their game.

The other one was the cup game and that was the most surprising one because we took control of possession and dominated the game after going down to ten men, although Rangers were dangerous on the break in that game and it could have went either way, but we were magnificent on that day because of the way we played while being down to ten men.

Rangers will do their usual and miss out the midfield at every opportunity because they quite simply can't compete with us in midfield, so they will launch the ball up front and be very direct hoping that we can't cope with their physical approach.

Anyhoo, it's not about what they do, if we play to our best then we will win as we have the better players. If we keep our discipline and concentrate on our game we will be fine. We have had a bit of a sluggish start to the season so hopefully yesterday was a sign that we are getting back to our best.

I have very rarely been so confident going into a game against them, even last season when we won a couple of them I was still a bit wary because of Walter Smith and his record against us, but I can honestly only see one winner on Sunday and at the very worst a draw.

It will be absolutely gutting if we let that muppet McCoist win his first OF game in charge, but I just can't see them winning on Sunday.

    Forster

    Matthews K.Wilson Mulgrew El Kaddouri

    Commons Kayal (C) Ki Ledley

    Stokes Hooper

Would like to see that team against them. Feel like we played well v Motherwell. don't feel like Forrest would be in the game enough that is why I would give Commons a chance.

Ledley first goal 2-0 Celtic :50:
