Anyway, I will go for a 2-1 win with Stokes getting both goals.

Tbh, cant really put El Kaddouri in as he we dont what he is like so I would keep Mulgrew at lb for this game. I would rather have Rogne instead of Maj who has become quite the bombscare lately. Rogne has the potential to be a very good defender. Loovens will still be injured I think?

Is Rogne even fit again? His best game in a Celtic jersey so far came at Ibrox last season, but I don't think he's anywhere near ready to be thrown into the mix like this. He's been out for months. The last time I remember him playing was against Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup at the end of January. He scored in that match too.

The last game he played was the league cup final where he wasn't fit at all and had to be took off quite early if I remember right. If he is fit again, it would be a risk but we would be taking the same risk by starting El Kaddouri imo. If Loovens is back from injury, I think he would be a consideration but the guy doesn't fill me with confidence

1 up front would be giving in to a poor team...attack is the only way against them.early goal or 2...

Not even thinking about this game just now to be fair. Motherwell first, 1 game a time.

Not sure about the personnel for this one, as we need to play motherwell and Atletico Madrid (er, I think) before this.

So all boils down to how well certain players perform in those 2 games and also if we have any injuries or suspensions (as of course the hfa will try to play their part)

    If we have a full squad to choose from (other than Izzy and Keatings) and everyone is on top form, IMO we should go for;

    Forster
    M Wilson - K Wilson - Mulgrew - El Kaddouri
    Brown - Kayal - Ledley - Commons
    Hooper - Stokes

    Subs;
    Zaluska
    Cha
    Maj/Loovens
    Wanyama
    Ki
    Forrest
    McCourt
    Bangura
    Sami

The alternative is to go 4-5-1 and boss the MF in the first half - run them ragged, frustrate the life out of them and then hit them with Stooper in the 2nd half!

Must win game, as they always are, as we want to take top spot asap and put as much pressure on the manky feckers on the park as HMRC are putting on them off it!

    Hail Hail

I honestly believe we have nothing to fear going into this match. Unbeaten at Ibrox under Lennon so far and we all know that they will put 10 men behind the ball, as they always do. Depending on how Bangura plays (if he plays) against Motherwell this weekend, he may be in contention for a starting spot, although I'd still have Stokes and Hooper playing together ahead of him either way.

Please Neil, leave Samaras on the bench for this one. If we somehow find ourselves struggling and pace/height/strength up front needs to be added, then bring him on. Let Stokes start ahead of him though, alongside Hooper.

stokes and hooperman up front for me, both look really good together and lenny should give stokes his chance at ipox! Feelin really confident about both the motherwell and huns games comin up hopefully 6pts from them then we'll be flyin,

I never count my chickens against the manky mob but if i'm not mistaken we've got to negotiate a game at Paradise first before visiting Mordor...one game at a time Bhoy's & Ghirl's,let's try and take care of M'well before thinking about Ibrokes.

    C'mon the Hoops! :celt_2:

I appreciate this is a massive game, but at this moment in time we need to focus soley on the game ahead against motherwell. It would be dangerous to do otherwise

    Hoping

    ----------------Forster
    Wilson(if fit)---Wilson----Mulgrew-El Kaddouri
    ---Brown-------Kayal------Ki-------Ledley
    -----------Stokes----Hooper

With Forrest to come on 65ish and run the legs of their defence. Maybe Commons on late if we are looking for a goal also.

    Expecting

    ----------------Forster
    Wilson(if fit)---Wilson----Mulgrew-El Kaddouri
    Brown---Kayal------Ki-------Ledley---Commons
    ----------------Sammy

I felt that Hooper and Stokes were both highly unimpressive today, not sure if they'll start this game.

    Agreed.

But do you not think this midfield would really wipe the flOOr with the huns

    Ledley, Wayama, Kayal, Ki, Brown

That is the only reason I would be tempted to play a 4-5-1. I think that midfield would just control the game. That's a wall! Skill and muscle right there. I know Wayama hasn't had much game time but when he's come on he's lOOked very comfortable and he's a big big lad.
