i think it will be the same team as thursday night with the exception of el kaddouri for loovens and brown (if fit) for forrest.

hope last night didnt take too much out the players and can see us (if everyone is on their game) taking the game to them. They are their for the beating. about time we took advantage

 

Very difficult to even attempt a prediction when we really have no idea how the teams are going to line up - especially Celtic.

Personally I like to see a relatively unchanged side unless suspensions and injuries force the hand.

Lennon and co are doing exceptionally well considering their inexperience, but I feel he bases team selection too much on what the other team's strengths are, and not our own. Plays players out of position far too often for me.

Plus watching Samaras and Loovens is like groundhog day.

Fortunately Rangers are rubbish so it shouldn't matter too much who plays!

 

Id go with Samaras and Hooper.

For Bangura to start he'd have had to have started the Motherwell or Atletico game but he never so he'll still be in "impress mode" where he'll be trying to hard to look good instead of just getting the job done.

 

Hooper has been * poor most of this season so far, if lenny plays him up top himself against rangers ill kick * out ma dug!

The only problem i have in this match is slight overconfidence from the fans, we are laughing at them with this tax case and possible administration. I just hope it doesn't come to bite us in the * and we start promptly on sunday, can't give them any free goals early on and really go at rangers for the jugular.

 

Will never happen. I have no idea why you think this would work seen as you haven't seen forrest up front at all and you've seen about 25 mins of Bangura.

ffs it should be the other way round ..Samaras MUST stay close to Hooper ...Samaras will wander in and out from the wing ....Hooper should put a lead on him to make sure he is close to him ..

forrest done something to his hamstring and is now a doubt, looks like commons will start now.

 

I think it depends on what Celtic team turns up. I don't think Rangers are anything to worry about and Everything they do comes through Davis and Jelavic.

Correct me if I'm wrong but they have won the last three opening derby games. That cannot happen. It gives them a mental advantage from the off.

We seem to start slowly against them and it has cost us in the past ( the Ness goal springs to mind)

It would have been a good time to finally play our best forward two against them as they have a new back four but unfortunetly it seems that won't happen but I would still go with two, Bangura is still a bit off starting, and I haven't been that impressed anyway albeit he has only been on for circa 30 minutes. So Samaras with Hooper it is.

Doesnt matter the team we put out but this is a MUST win game. If we dont win and go 4 points behind, with the EL games we dont play until a Sunday so we could be in the position of 7 points behind playing catch up !.........Buts thats not going to happen.....1-3 to us, Hooper double and Ki !!!
