    The organisation pretending they give a * after they paid to show the WC. The pundits pretending they give a * after accepting money to be involved.
    Could also be that it is one of the least exciting opening matches of all time.

    Disagree mate tbh. I think they have it about right. Everybody knows this world cup is a joke, however it is what it is and to just ignore the fact it is in Qatar would be worse for me.

    It is the BBC mate so now they are talking about England so I bet you wish they were back on Human Rights :giggle1:

    Was just about to post about the England discussion when they’re not even involved today. Normal service has resumed.
    I’m genuinely interested in hearing a bit about the Qatar and Ecuador players but they obviously don’t give a *.
    The issues around the tournament have been discussed at length elsewhere.

    Fair enough. I have heard a few people saying they wouldn't have watched the tournament but they have kids for who it will be their first World Cup so they are going to watch it for them although they have had a chat about it and some of the issues. I don't think doing half an hour on the issues and politics was too much personally and I think it would have been worse to just ignore it.
