Johansen needs to calm it. We need Commons on though, there's an incredible amount of space to work with in there.

Bitton has been something else.

All we need is one goal. Not a chance this team have three goals in them.

 

Ref is an incompetent goon, at least 5 clear fouls waved away and they're getting free kicks for nudges, * typical.

VVD & Bitton have been excellent so far. That save from Gordon as well was a thing of beauty.

GMS, Boyata & Ciftci have been awful the rest are bang average.

They pass the ball about well but don't offer much in the final third so hopefully we see this through!

this has been a terrible disjointed performance but ronny knows the score

i guess the problem is that ronny doesnt want our fullbacks and center halves exposed so is telling brown and bitton to cover them mainly this is stopping us having a normal attacking game

johansen gms and armstrong are then pulled back towards our own goal as well and our striker is them left all on his lonesome up front hes not really got a chance

we are so * at tactics lol

 

I'd give it another fifteen minutes then shift GMS and Ciftci for Commons and Griffiths. The ball up to Ciftci just isn't working by the looks of it, and GMS seems to be out of his depth tonight.

I'll tell you what though, Bitton has turned into some player. He's like an Israeli Pogba the way he strides around the park. not quite as good though, obviously, before some smart * jumps on that comparison :smiley-laughing002:

Ball wasn't out on that last attack when their defender cleared it. if Ciftci was looking at the ball and not crying to the ref he could have controlled it and been in 1 on 1.

 

I agree with commons. Seems like running and chasing them isn't up to much so commons might be able to find that killer pass (or knowing commons skelp one from 30 yards).

Think GMS has been a bit unlucky. Got 3 around him every time and not getting much help.

 

I'd give GMS 10/15 minutes second half. If he doesn't improve put commons on.

Same with Cifti for Griffiths.
