    I dont think the board would take the wrong side in a dispute like this.

    They arent going to back a manager that has a vendetta against a player nor are they going to back a player who broke club discipline. Simple as

    the only accurate information any of us have at this juncture is mcgeady has been banned and fined for two weeks,,everything else is based on opinions,,so how do you have any more accurate information than me. lol

    In situations like this, I back the manager all the way. When rules are broken, and reasonable behaviour guidelines are breached, then disciplinary action has to be taken, its the same in all walks of life. Your boss is your boss, whether you agree with him or not !!

    If the board dont back the boss, its the beginning of the end for Strachan, remember Ferguson and Le Guen? At the time I thought that was a disgrace, as no player is more important than the manager.

    About 2 months ago, McGeady made comments to a fan about his relationship with Strachan. Do you know about this?

    1. McGeady stated that he thinks that GS has a problem with him and he's no problem with GS

    2. McGeady has regressed as a player this season compared to last year - widely accepted opinion and he's wondering why the manager is giving out to him?? :56:

    You are playing mince McGeady and the manager knows you could be doing better, ya muppet!!

    3. And the most important point, McGeady shouldnt have discussed internal matters at CP with the media or public without authorisation from the club.

    There has been a few places where McGeady/Strachan relationship has cropped up, from talking to taxi drivers to his aunts gossiping in bingo halls as several other members will testify to have heard from before him talking to tim park. No smoke without fire.

    I believe McGeady has been disciplined for allowing details of their relationship to get beyond the dressing room. As any player will tell you, what goes on behind closed doors, staying * behind them. I'd be * raging if one of my players was undermining me like that too and I would heavily punish the * too.

    Now thats my opinion but it is based on accurate information from sources that I deem to be highly credible

    No no, how did the media find out about the dressing room bust up on saturday? Who leaked that?

    McGeady has been leaking information for a while now, maybe saturday was the final straw.

    No he picked up McGeady in his taxi one night to take him to a nightclub and he asked him straight up and he got a straight answer and a photo with him.

    I dont approve of his lifestyle either, very Ronaldinho-esque

    But He's the one being running his mouth in public to random people. Ya just cant ignore that.

    Tim Park told him that he ran Tictalk and McGeady saw some of his clips, what an opportunity for him to get his feelings about his manager known to fans, eh? Conspiracy theory probably but the player has a history of running his mouth going back to his youth team days.

    BTW, Anyone have a recording of what his agent said last night on real radio??

    No, i reckon this is just another one of strachen's petit battles with a player he has always disliked. Seems every year there's a new player to annoy Strachen.

    Balde, Graveson, Sno (who he believed to be a cracking talent?), Petrov, Riordin and there could be more... and now add mcgeady to the list.

    This is all mostly speculation about what was said....not said,who said, what was said and to hume...But like me i am really interested in what was said!!!!!

    No player at Celtic is bigger than the club past and present. It takes a firm manager to manage a great club like Celtic and be successful. If Mcgeady wants to go, maybe he should look at past exports out of Parkhead that thought they could do better.

    Im 100% behind wgs and if he was not as strong as he his!! His players,fans would not respect him.

    If Mcgeady Wants to go he will be missed but so was Moravcik, larrson,
    to mention a few.

    Aiden has an attitude problem, it's always been there. He's still immature, I remember at a signing session once, he was the only player who didn't talk to any of the fans, just signed away.
