belgium and france have played not sure what scores were

 

They played 3 times. Then went offline.

 

i was watching scores in the friendlys menu and scores i seen were 1 1 and 5 3 belgium

 

I saw 0-0, 5-3 and 1-1.

 

just been posted up 1 1 and 5 3 belgium they must have played a friendly first im sure that sees me into the olympics

So Mark and I played our games today, first of all, well done man. You are a top player and had my number at times, particularly in the first game. Again I slightly flattered to decieve, but overall got exactly what I deserved.

Belgium 5 - 3 France

I was actually slightly apprehensive going into this game, knowing that anything less than a victory would see me go out, so I set up my stall with the intention of staying in the game for as long as possible, keeping as much posession as possible at the same time.

Although that plan went straight out of the window as for a large portion of the first half I was panicky, reckless, impatient and inaccurate with my play and passing. Mark, being the good player that he is didn't give my defense a moments rest, his first goal coming from a counter attack, simple chipped through ball from deep in his own half with literally none of my players anywhere near my half and ruthlessly took his chance. The other goals I cannot moan about I was being terrorised time and again, unable to deal with the pace and trickery of Hazard nor the brute strength of Lukaku. So I went 3-0 down, what the frack? This is going to be a cricket score!!

However I managed to get it to 3-1 and the exchanges in the second half were more even with a final scoreline of 5-3 to Mark, second half would probably have been a good watch as both teams went for it (I was on Ultra Offensive for most of the game). Mark deserved the win, however I was yet again frustrated at my inability to start games well in this tournament. Not doing myself justice and just generally being frustrated at the situation. However, I am not one to mope, nor to give up, every single game is important in my book, even if it is just for pride.

France 1 - 1 Belgium

A much, much more even game with both teams looking lively to score, to be honest I actually can't remember who scored first, but I've a feeling it was me (correct me if i'm wrong here Mark). But I slightly edged possession and shots. But in terms of clear cut chances it was very even. I feel I could have scored a couple more, but then again I'm sure Mark will as well. I actually had a shot deflected onto the bar in the closing stages, thought it had went in and I'd won the game! But after that Lloris came flapping (Rab Douglas style) for a cross completely missed it and I was lucky the ball did not roll over the line.

Closing thoughts on the tournament.

Overall I have enjoyed this tournament and although my final position might suggest I'm one of the poorer players on this forum I must state that there was not one bad player in my group, in fact they are all lethal and on another day I could have quite easily have qualified. I'm sure they'd all agree in saying that there were no easy games. I certainly didn't have an easy game and don't think that anyone had an easy game against me. But ultimately the tables don't lie and there will be areas of my game which I must strive to improve on, which I most definitely will. If anyone in my group wishes to give me feedback on this, or a pm then please feel free to do so as I am open to it, I actually embrace it.

Well done to those who have qualified and I look forward to playing you guys in the future.

i'm on just now, ive only got lyle and fab to play.

edit: lyles no been on for 37 hours. ill be at the athletico game on wednesday so really need to get these games done tomorrow.

 

I'm gutted I'm out to be honest, there are alot of you guys I want to play! Also, if anyone wants to keep sharp as this tournament progresses. Give me a shout, I'm up for some friendlies, I'll even use France to keep it realistic for you guys! haha!
