I'm only really saying this cause I have a deep hatred for Liverpool and hope they go out of business tomorrow.

 

Liverpool are a good club with good fans.

 

I really need the wins, no questions about it. But getting them is another matter. I'm agonisingly close to getting points but something always goes against me in some form (I am not referring to luck, just conceding goals in general) at crucial moments. Then comes the traditional Scottish fightback only to be suckerpunched later in the game.

I need something else to be a contender, being clinical would be a good start. My games against Mark will be the key ones. I look forward to them.

 

What? Beat everyone with ease? Mate, I don't play FIFA as much as I used to, I bashed FIFA 11, this year because of Work I only get on for a couple of hours every night.

I'm not putting pressure on anyone mate, there isn't really much pressure on me, I wanted to get 4th place and I've got that, I don't take these Tournaments as serious as I did before, I'm a Mod now I have to be mature.... I wouldn't have pulled out the last one if I did, I only did it for Craig and so everyone could crack on with the games because I love this Section and everyone in it.

I take FIFA online very serious, I have a good record and just last night I had my old FIFA rage back last night, Gaz must be sick of me moaning to him!

I wasn't meaning to play my chances down all I'm saying is that in reality, with you on such good form and with a better team overall I wouldn't be too shocked if you beat me twice, Belgium are a good team but I'm going against a stronger team and you go into this game on amazing form.

If you were in my position I'm sure you wouldn't be feeling too confident either mate. I've never questioned your ability Gaffer? I've always said your a fantastic player, I see us as evenly matched, if you do manage to win both it means we have both won 4 games each against each other which proves just how even we are! I always play my chances down before games, I'm not cocky or arrogant, I never have I never will, there is always someone better at you just around the corner at everything in life.

You mention Belgium online are good and yeah but that's when your going against other teams of a similar rating, I'm not coming against two teams of a similar strength.

It could be a blessing in disgusie If I do lose all 4 games, If I manage 2nd spot I'll be going against the likes of Spain and probably out in the first knock out round, maybe if I can get 4th spot I'll have much better chance of winning the 3rd and 4th Thingy.

just trying to pressure on you bud, a don't actually think your worried. but there no doubt u'll be chomping it the bit to beat markeboy. these tournements are good fun, am sure am no the only one the gets a little nervous/pumped up before a match. a get more excitment playing you guys in this tournement than a do playing online in the head to heads.

This might surprise a few people but No, I don't really take them seriously, I've won a few Tourneys and forgot all about it within 5 minutes of winning them. Yeah of course, I don't like going out but it's just a Friendly Tourney, it's not like it's a Celtic v Rangers thing, we're all online buddies and there should be a friendly competitve nature to them but that's all it should be.

Winning a Tourney doesn't mean your the best player on the Forum, for example, SeanbhoyProvos I don't think has won a Tourney and I think he could quite easily match most of the top players on this Tourney on his day, Gaz, is IMO the greatest player of all time on TalkCeltic despite the fact he denies this, he hasn't won as many Tourney's as the rest but again there's a reason behind that.

The only fair way of deciding who REALLY is the best player is an 'All Celtic Tourney' League format but that wouldn't work unfortunately.

I get more wound up losing to my mates in real life before we go out drinking, my 5 mates all come round mine and 4 of them are Gash but there's one lad Sam, he is some player and we've had some epic battles.

He's an Xbox Kid, so has a ready made excuse every time I win, when I go round his I play with console and vice versa, he's ranked 300th in World on their rankings, I'm currently beating him 32-26 (I'm not keeping count or anything)

he's also a real wind up merchant, I'll beat him and won't mention it all night, he wins he won't stop going on about it, all night, every club he does my * in, so now we play for Money and it does get very serious, there was one night recently about 4 weeks ago I won £20 off him and he went home at 11am, we only came out at 10:30, said he "Wasn't in the mood', when I score with Celtic I have the 'Just can't get enough' theme, this really * him off, last month I beat him 6-3 I was Celtic he was Rangers and I took £20 and started humming it walking up the town, first bar I went into I asked the DJ for the full song, it was * perfect, I've never wound him up before after beating him but I wanted to give him a taste of what he dishes out, "Just can't get enough" BLASTING and I was going wild!!! He came out the toilet and the song came on, it couldn't have came on a better time!

See, if that was other way around and he got 'Simply the Best' by Tina Turner I would have just laughed it off and drown my sorrow in Vodka shots but he didn't see the funny side, told me to * off and asked for the £20 back!

He then went home in a mood, which kinda soured the night for the rest of us, every time he comes he tries to add another point on the overall score, "So it's 30-29 you Mark Yeah" * OFF!

It's now getting past fun and it's getting a bit serious, when he comes around he refuses to drink incase it ruins his concentration! He spends literally 6 minutes doing his tactics and when we play there is a real atmopshere, the other lads must be sick, they can't even speak to him during the game incase they put him off! It's going to get too far one day.

So playing an online Tourney is a day at the races in comparasion to my Saturday Night WAR against Sam lol

Honestly, It's ridiculous, it started as a bit of fun but he's taking it too far, one day I even noticed that Weir had ridiculous pace, I didn't think anything of it but when Stokes was clean through and he still got back in time? So I asked him to go to his team, Weir was an 86 rated! He had went to the effort to change almost the entire Rangers team so they were like Barcelona! I asked him and he said he did it just for a laugh?

He'll physically shake when the Game is on! * Nutter he is! When I win he won't leave till we play another match and he wins, he's 22 years of age!

He once tossed my controller and this caused a little pushing match between us.

Honestly, normally he is * soud, just turns into a * with FIFA.

I do think some of us take FIFA too seriously though, It's only a video game at the end of the day. If I'm staking real cash on the Virgin Gaming then I take it uber-seriously though, obviously. :icon_mrgreen:

Aslong as they are trying. I will need to set a deadline over the next couple of days. See how things pan out over the weekend and how many games get done.

Not sure what is going on with Wishaw. Think he told me his connection is dodgy at the moment too.
