Now i am not having a go at lennon when i say this but in the last two windows (summer) the club spent something like 5 million and 7 million and lennon chose to spent that money over a spread of players.
Why did he not just go and buy two and say 5/6 million players, its not like we needed the numbers in we have a big enough squad.

I'm sure when they say we are in a great financial position for them it means we are not in the * and sadly its probably because of that downsizing we are not in the *.
For a club that only gets close to 2 million for winning the splfplf to run up a debt of say 10 million for players is high risk and could hurt us for years.

Listening to his interview, I think the problem was that only some of the players were implementing the strategy and others were not, meaning that what we actually did was neither fish nor fowl, i.e. a shambles.

still disgusted, cant believe what i witnessed last night.

Its clear now anyway why NL left the club, our squad is bursting with average deadwood.

Ill be voting with my feet

When better to make my return and spread the love then now? :icon_mrgreen:

A protest against the board should have happened already if it truly was a culmination of events i.e the way it treated it's fan base in a certain section where the GB was know to sit.

This result I actually do not believe is a result in the lack of investment in the team.

My Reason? WGS, TM and NL all failed to qualify for the CL with investment in the squad within their first season. TM maybe unlucky as he got papped out by Arsenal, where as both WGS and NL got their arses handed to them by a bunch of Brats and Utrect and then the following season only getting in because of a technicality by Sion after they also handed our arses back to us.

The board is not to blame here for this result investment or no investment it's pretty evident that our new manager always seems to struggle to get into the CL group stages at the first time of asking, if i'm right I think even MON struggled.

People need to calm the * down about last nights result and stop blaming the board as they can't be blamed for the managers bizzare tactics and a group of players seriously turning some of the worst performances they have given in a celtic shirt.

Withdraw all financial support, that's the only thing they care about. To be fair Celtic fans have kinda walked in to this, people have been saying for years we get treated like mugs year on year and yet people still renew season tickets and purchase hundreds of pounds worth of merchandise.

There is no way id pay money to go and see this pish, the quality of player goes down on a yearly basis, there are no heroes at this club anymore, added to the fact lawwell is trying to rip the heart out of everything that is Celtic, he can ram his #beceltic and #because, up his *

Despite the board only working under guide lines from the clubs owner why do people think changing the board will change anything.
Should the fans not be aiming their rage at the clubs owner if they really want to change the way our club is being run.

The club doesnt have an owner, it has shareholders, Fergus original plan was there to be NO one owner, but the ordinary happy clapping shareholders are obviously content with this shambles or so it seems

No he does not own the club outright but he is the law maker.
    What he says goes...end off.
He has more than 50% of our club so it don't really matter what shareholders want.

Why would Lawwell want to rip the heart from the club? It wouldn't be any benefit to him. We're all sick at last night's result but a lot of people are going way over the top. Scottish football as whole has declined in recent times and there is no short-term solution to that. As long as we must go through numerous qualifiers we will be vulnerable especially as they come so early in pre-season. We f**ked up big time vs Artmedia and the reaction was akin to the end of the world but we improved and we're still here. We shouldn't have to accept results and performances like last night but over-the-top knee-* reactions won't do us any good.

I think he's trying to play down our Irish heritage to make us more appealing to England.

One main difference is the Polish league is 2 games in they are all match fit and you could see that (Not saying they are a bad team because they did play well) however, we have had a few games lots of travelling and the league hasn't started! Our league and preparation doesn't suit the qualifiers and we need to fix that.

Why blame board. Ronny sent out wrong team. Away from home he should been trying keep it tight and nick away goal. Kayal and biton should off started.
Then senting on Leigh instead biton to help midfield out.
Wrong team and tactics . We made Warsaw look good when poor irish part timer got draw out there and made them look poor.
Ronny trying change team to much to fast.
