Im not blaming him for these last two games or the result but for the way some of the * on the pitch only look like they are making half a effort.

I don't know what will make the board act. I mean last season for a fair few home games we were getting between 20,000-29000 turning up. Apparently we had over 41000 ST holders! If that doesn't make the board aware that the fans won't keep coming then I don't know what will.

I shudder to think what the season ahead will be like if some mood lifting signings don't appear. Ledley and Samaras leaving combined with the fees for Ledley, and the CL money last season should have given Ronny funds to get players in to suit his system ASAP. With no CL money coming now, the board have made it harder to get such players. On the evidence of the Legia tie, this team could struggle to make the Europa League.

An empty stadium on flag day would be terrible but might be the only way they'll take the fans seriously. More ambition is needed urgently!

Dubliner, what's your * deal man?

A quick skim of your posts back in Feb has you saying:

"The supporters on here who don't want Lenny to go I believe are stating this because "he is is one of us and from Ireland". In football matters he should be shown the door."

Yet on this thread you tell us:

"Neil Lennon WALKS away. That tells u something. And before u can say something I know Neil well and it broke his heart having to leave."

Did you know him that well that you told him the fans only wanted him at Celtic because he is an Irish Celtic fan?

Or maybe knowing him that well he appreciated your candour?

Me, I think you're absolutely full of *.

Protesting by staying away from a match . Would be futile because no one could ever organise 100% non attendance , the low attendance would only encourage board to cut more from playing staff as they would say attendance down .
It would seem strange from my perspective that supporters would want to reduce the quality of player by reducing club income .
I would have thought by now the board would feel rather justified in not given Deila any money to spend . Let him prove he can get his current bunch of players playing up
to the standards they played last season.

some fans must be really thick if they can not see the direction we are going,i have no problem with the board selling players like wanyama and mcgeady for big bucks, the problem i have is, if wee sell wanyama for 12 million surely we can spend 4 million on a replacement.lawwell also said we are not dependent on champions league money,so why out of the 30 million we have made the last 2 seasons have we not spent some of that money on strengthening the team.last season we spent about 7 million,so the sale of ledley and hooper would have covered that.this season we have brought in gordon who was obviously lawwell signing to cover forsters iminent sale, berget who has played two games for cardiff.we also have samaras wage off the wage bill and sold tony watt for 1.5 million.the managers we were linked with this season were an absolute disgrace for a club like celtic,i dont blame ronny delia for taking the job as he is hardly going to refuse the job coming from a team many fans had barely heard off,but lets face it celtic is a huge step up from managing a small norwegian team.this team badly needed einforcements brought in before the qualifiers.in my opinion we need a left back, centre half, ledly type mid,2 wingers and a decent striker with a bit of physical presence.yet again the board have let us the fans down, yet we are still expected to buy overpriced season tkts.

There is massive disconnect between those that run the club, & the fans.

Remember Lawell worked under the Kelly's. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Protest against the board does not need to be organised.

Ghost town Parkhead this season will be the protest. Not because of no competition, but I think most finally clicked on just what the board has turned our club into and realise the only way to save the club now is staying away from it. PL only responds to money, nothing else. People people don't want to go and see a team of unmotivated talentless players that shouldn't be anywhere near a Celtic top.

The first thing we would have to do is compile an agreed upon list of ligitimate reasonable demands.

No point starting any kind of protest before.

A boycott that might catch people's attention would be protesting outside the stadium during matches. If it ever got to the stage that there were more people outside than inside while a game was being played... well that would be a pretty powerful image. It would also prevent people from saying Celtic fans are walking away, when we'd literally be right there, just drawing a line against supporting the status quo.

Will never happen, but it would be bizarro to have a game on to an empty stadium and tens of thousands outside.

Agreed upon? Our support couldn't agree what * day of the week it is.

Deila said in his pre-match press conference when asked about new players that there moves being made behind the scenes now, but that he wasn't going to be rushed into buying new players for the sake of it.

We'll see how things go on that front, but I have a feeling we're seeing a change in philosophy here, and it's going to take time and many tears to implement.

We need it though, and I reckon we'll see some players moving in both directions.

    Interesting times indeed.

Just wait and see the sort of attendances we get for this season, and that's without a boycott.

It's going to be long and boring.

Exactly. There doesn't need to be any planned boycott.

The attendances will speak for themselves, and hopefully the ST renewals will decline which is the most important one. The latter I'm not too sure about, but as I see more happy clappers coming to their senses around Glasgow, it's looking more promising than ever. Albeit a little too late perhaps.

I think the board won't listen to anything the support say or do except for one thing.
When the team walks out onto the Celtic Park turf they should be met with absolute silence from the crowd.
A completely silent Celtic Park whilst a match is playing would get the point across straight away.
If the board are too stupid to realise why it's happening THEN and only then should they be removed from their posts because they obviously couldn't give a * about the support.
The AGM is going to be interesting.
