Promising Signs

The team has lot of energy and hunger for goals. There are few things I would like to see : proven goalscorer and solid defense (Loovens isn't good enough, we need CB with pace when we use attacking fullbacks) . It's pity than there is not room for Ki, he would be great at set pieces (our corners were bad even in the Utrecht game).

 

The good thing is the player Lenny has brought in are young and hungry and have potential to have a sell on value hence keeping the board happy too, hopefully the days of old has been has gone. We have also some very exciting young kids who could make the step up soon and others away getting playing time and 1st team experience. Need a couple players still especially in front of goal ( how bad was Shaun's miss last night) And Zaluka needs to find confidence or drop down and we get a new 1st team goalie.

 

Very promising signs last night,if this is the way Lenny and co are to have us play like then you cant fail to be excited.So many things we have been lacking in recent seasons seem to be in place now.

We played with a very energetic,pacy,hungry attitude that was a joy to watch at times,hopefully we will keep it up.Our central midfeild trio was WOW and looked as good as any since lenny, lambert and stan.

Dan the man looks like the experienced reliable CD we've been lacking,well positioned,organized and composed,very promising debut.

Early days but long may it continue and im really looking forward to watching us next match.
