This will happen the very same week that I take the Inter Galactic Council Throne as Supreme Diety and Emperor of The Federation (including Possil.)

At my right hand side will be Robbie Keane whom I shall appoint as Director of Misinformation.

Beleive it, because this will happen many eons before we get into the EPL and Robbie backs me in that all the way.

Football is governed by money all over the world and the thing they need to ask themselves is can we bring something to the table and its got to be yes as we would as was said in that article . The down side is look at the rangers fans the other night people see that and we all get judged the same way because there are plenty of rangers fans who arent idiots in that way and want nothgin to do with all the bs as most celtic fans want nothing to do with all the ira bs but until we all rid ourselves of it theen im afraid we will be stuck as we are which is a real shame

four leaf clover, just cant get enough.
If Celtic TRULY want this to happen, they have to get way more aggresive with it. Talk to anyone and everyone. Every media outlet. Let it be known you want into the PL. Talk about it so much that every manager in England has to discuss it with the media.

Call out clubs in England being "afraid" of letting Celtic in. Go after their pride. It won't look pretty but playing this nice, polite, politically correct way of going about it, is going to get you * all.

Thing is chief, the spl is in major decline. At the risk of upsetting the apple cart, we need the epl more than they need us. Yes we will bring added scottish fans & viewers. Celtic 's concerns will be, younger fans choosing other clubs that are winning trophies, when we are a mid table premiership side, instead of following the spl champions. Big risk, but well worth it in my opinion.

the decision makers of the EPL are not fond of the idea, they want to keep talk of the old firm joining to a minimal to ensure that the hype surrounding the issue stays low so that it can all blow over!

    epl ,on second thoughts

was thinking about this epl thing a bit more thoroughly and canot see the benefit now,we cant compete for players with them ,so say we get invited we then get our tv money, 20mill in england if you want to compete that buys you two players at overinflated price plus wages of 50 to 80 g a week for wot i would say is not the top top players there goes the benefit in joining swallowed up by greedy clubs and greedy players.
now were in we would not get european football untill we reach the epl top 6 and considering these teams have all the experience playing there that gives them an advantage over us for at least 5 to 10 years of getting used to it , we would also need a bigger squad with better quality which means more money and wages as all games would be tougher with the need to rest overworked players.

cups, would we be playing in the scottish cups or fa cups as this is not a sky sponsered trophy thgis would mean we would need fa backing to join and could not be forced by sky alone , also there is the fact that the old firm are used to winning trophies wot would it be like to noy win anything for 20 or 30 years or maybe never again and another thing we are used to winning the majority of our games here and gaining confidence from this ,in epl this would not happen or championship as games are harder we could end up in relegation battles ,i may be wrong wots your views.:celt_2:

Celtic and rangers are not an item ,if Celtic want this to happen they have got to speak for themselves and let it be known to the English that we have no ties whatsoever with them ,because attitude from the fans behavior will come into this if it ever gets off the ground and we are not them ,let them do there own wheeling and dealing.

I prefer the sound of an Atlantic Leauge . . Like us in with the Dutch,Belgians etc.
We would be up there winning trophies in a shorter period of time probally than if we were to join the EPL!

agree we would prob be chalenging for trophies quicker but dont think it would be a big improvment on wot we have already mate.
