I get that, however, if they get promoted and stay are people thinking Howe will no longer want to come to us because of this.

Surely us announcing Howe would make no difference to anything regarding the staff at Bournemouth?

 

Surely woodgate isn’t getting sacked if he gets them promoted? That would have been his objective which would mean he wants to keep staff there? I think Howe is pretty much guaranteed, I think a couple of staff from Bournemouth will come regardless of promotion too. I think it’s just Howe being respectful. Absolutely dire for us waiting for the announcement but I’m relatively relaxed about it all. The fact Hodgson has confirmed he’s stepping down at the end of the season and two media outlets have confirmed he’s not interested in the role makes me more relaxed. It’s hard being patient with the way the season has went though.

 

I've heard we may announce Howe Friday or before. Probably * though.

I honestly think the staffing thing is just an assumption by the media and fans. His agent categorically said no job will be accepted until summer, and Howe's plan last year was to have a full season out with his family.

I think he's holding true to that but the deal was agreed with Desmond when the rumours were rife back in April.

At least I hope that's the case anyway

 

No he’ll just announce the others he wanted in with him. What it will do is stop shouts of him not getting his first choice staff

 

But if Bournemouth get promoted and we don’t get the staff Howe wants, those shouts will be there regardless of whether Howe is announced before or after their promotion.

Fact is nobody knows who his 1st choices are, and he can just say that.

 

I think people are just missing the bigger points here and I doubt anyone here would act different if it was them.

I fully believe Howe is all agreed.
Why isn't it being announced? A number of reasons.

Howe could be on compensation as long as he doesn't take another job before the 1st of June, the end of the season.
As to staff he may take with him? They will also be on bonuses, if they get promoted to the EPL then even the kit man will get a nice bonus, like I said, no one here would leave a club now if they had a chance of a nice bonus.

I'm sure Howe is already working in the background and he already knows what staff are coming with him.
I honestly think it's all down to compensation and bonuses that is delaying the club announcing it.
