Agree we need a new major shareholder who's going to take us to the next level as Desmond been there too long now and it's going stale .

 

Kennedy as sporting director/DoF and lawwell taking up a different position on the board?


Absolutely get to * Celtic, either one of those two things happen and every * one of this board need removed permanently, 1994 style.

So * out of touch with reality, the fans, with football.

Kennedy is well thought of by players, staff and in the boardroom. Anyone who has worked with him only has positive things to say so I don't think he's this useless, clueless, dafty people are painting him as. Whether he would make a good DoF no one knows yet but if he's been pushed forward for it by people behind the scenes then he's not exactly going to say...no wait a minute forget that well paid, exciting position at a major club, instead I'm resigning for the greater good and I'm away to the dole office....suggesting he's 'taking liberties' for example is laughable.

Another point regarding his lack of oomph and motivation in the dugout people are moaning about. Well here's a thought...maybe he's not cut out for management, he realises this now & he would prefer and work better in a different position and feels this is the exact type of role that would suit him. I.e an overseeing, technical position.

This is not a promotion for Kennedy as DoF by any means but he's obviously not as useless as people think and any venom should be directed at the people making the decisions not JK.

 

JK has zero experience as a DoF. I have some sympathy for him as he has not been given enough time to show if he has the makings of a manager but that's down to the board.

IMO - he needs to go elsewhere and prove himself (like Broony) - if he hasn't got the confidence in himself to do that - it speaks volumes.

If I was Eddie Howe and the board tried to force JK on me as a DoF, I'd tell them to get to GTF.

 

I just don't believe it. It just sounds like a load of bollocks from the press so they had something to print.

 

both these players havent been offered deals as far as i can see , both players are 29 and this would be there only chance to sample european football and maybe add medals

I know people who have worked with him have said good things about him, but in all honesty, what else are the people you work with going to say about you when asked. I think Kennedy has played more of a part in the disaster this season than folk give him credit for in my opinion.

 

i have seen enough of kennedy's decisions as stand in manager to know he should be nowhere near that position.he continues to hinder the progress of one of most promising players for someone who has already checked out .if he really said that he was keeping scottish players fit for the euros he should hunted already ,hes the perfect * to know your priorities should be in that regard.
i think kennedy has been groomed for the managers position for years he would probably have got the job this year or next without much fuss had lennon not made a balls of it .somebodys ego wont let kennedy take a step backwards it seems to even be considered as D.O.F is * ridiculous

I'd say no.

 

Can't please all the people all of the time, I get that but after this seasons horror show, can't really see how negatives can be looked at currently for a guy who is known for professionalism, fitness, preparation and organisation. Things that we have sorely missed this season.

Kennedy imo, should go but if Howe's done his homework, and is happy for him to remain, then let's get this show up and running.

Only positives that I can see from an appointment such as Howe currently.

Didn't think Marsch was a realistic candidate at all, but at least that's one name we'll stop hearing about amongst the other rumours now.

 

I'm not sure he was. And he was the only one, of the top 4 of the early betting market, to go on record confirming that he wasn't interested.

And that preceded the infamous ITK claims being made on here. It was such a weird hill for tRaNsFeRbHoY to die on. But die he did.

But what we don't need at this moment is a DOF apprentice. We need someone who knows the job and has a good network.
