  3. If we Get Howe then I wouldn't say they'll be * it but I guarantee they'd rather we got 99% of the other candidate's listed..

They'll be nervous at this appointment. Won't be cheering or celebrating on their official club twitter at Howe that's for sure..

We'll conceded here or there but we'll be playing attacking football with a lot of pace. Good on the counter also..

We'll start battering side's domestically again..

If these talks have been going on for week's then you'd imagine Howe would've been putting or has together some of his target's already. Think he'll add real pace out wide and proper striker's who can mix it, score, hold it up and run in behind like his Bournemouth day's..

  4. It's taken longer than we thought to get Eddie so close to signing the deal. Not sure why it has taken this long. It was all supposed to be done & dusted around the 21st/22nd January. I hope the news we all seen tonight is not one those 1st April category???

The talks have been going on for over 5 months. Would love to know what has changed. The board must be meeting his requirements with the structure and transfer kitty. The wages were never the blocker.

  14. Will be delighted if howe gets it BUT needs to be backed and allowed to get his ideas across. Also needs to have support from a director of football, good coaches and scouting network. But aye definitely steps in the right direction and an exciting summer ahead

  15. Bartley always come across a bit Hunnish imo

Was Burchill one of his scouts or something?

  17. I think if it's Fergal for DoF and Howe as manager - it would be unbelievable if Fergal can get Howe & Maresca together, they hit it off brilliantly and Enzo is his asst.
I was pretty pumped about the prospect of Maresca - although you have to have reservations about being a first-time #1 - but as assistant, that would be absolutely perfect. Two progressive guys together.
Is that a step-up from reserve team manager (alebit with Man City!) to Assistant Manager at Celtic? And with other teams potentially interested in having him as #1?
Dermot, Fergal, Dominic, Eddie - please make it happen!

He probably wasn’t far off £250m-£300m.

But he made profit on a lot like Ake, guys like Lerma are still there and then you’ve got the likes of Ibe who were failures.

But that’s the money these players cost down there.

He will bring a level of professionalism akin to Rodgers as well.

The loss of that is a big reason as to why we lost the 10. They will know fine well that they gor lucky with us having lennon in charge as standards dropped as theirs just rose.

If this goes through it should bring us right back again and you'd imagine he has an eye for a player and he's proven to improve average one's. Again, Rodgers esque.

  20. Would be unbelievable getting both, Harkin and the City backroom staff in..

I wonder who he'll bring in realistically though? His old assistant carried on at Bournemouth and us now at Sheffield United i believe?
