We shouldn’t even be looking at managers right now tbh. It should be DOF for now and let him hire a manager.

Marsch best option but I'd take maresca in a heart beat especially if it gets Keane out of the equation.

Love Keane as an Irishman but * me, we would be doing well to get to November without a player mutiny on our hands

If this cluster * appointment happens then we as a club is going backwards at alarming speed and the 90s era will be back sooner than we think .
Desmond will have failed as the major shareholder to take the club to a modern structure and appointing a coach who's CV will take us forward in domestic and in Europe.
Desmond needs to stop appointing pals like Keane and he's not acting professional and it's jobs for the boys rule for him and the support should not accept it and think alot of the support will not renew their season tickets as next season will be a car crash and the support deserve better .

 

The one place in the club we should be pushing the boat out is dof and coach/manager. They pay their own wages with European and transfer success if they know what they are at

Lawell won't be there to do that . Apparently Dominic McKay is taken more of a backseat when it comes to that hence the DOF

I'm clearly in the denial stage about Keane now I'm trying to convince myself his names been leaked as a smokescreen to cover eho we are really after

 

Because he was the best midfield enforcer in the world for a number of years and we play in a Mickey Mouse league perhaps?

I could never bring myself to hoping we get beat every week. We could appoint Maurice * Johnston and I would never want us to lose every week. I hated the appointment of Lennon from the start. I thought he was a terrible appointment. I wanted to be proved wrong. Keane is a potential car crash of an appointment. I still would want him to succeed. He probably won't but ffs to want us to get beat every game. Would you not like to be proved wrong and celebrate rather than be proved right just to say 'I told you so'

I want to be critical of a lot of how we run things, but generally I think we can be good at keeping things closed doors - I reckon the Harkin deal is already done and he is likely doing two jobs right now. I imagine once the season is finished with we will roll out a big announcement of DoF, Head Coach and Assistant in one go. Hopefully then followed by 2 weeks of daily news feeding of new coaches, analysts etc as well.

Generally think Harkin is already a done thing and if it aint Maresca, then he is working on the next target anyway
