Because white people haven't been oppressed like black people have in modern history and don't face discrimination to this day, based on their skin colour.

Imagine still having to explain this in 2021.

Maybe we could look at it this way (for the dense)…
Englishman: why do you Scots not support us at tournaments, why do you always shout for the other team?
Scotsman: because yous are arrogant, think your better than everyone else (especially us) and think you only have to turn up to win all the time.

If one is standard behaviour in Scotland/Wales/Ireland/The World, then why can’t people see that support for someone/something that represents an oppressor isn’t universal?
It’s almost like they want confrontation - iMaGiNe iF sHe WaS wHiTe ug ug etc.

I read something about this ages ago but I forgot the terminology used (i think it was reverse racism), it basically was a summary of some scenarios like. If white people insult blacks it can be construed as racist but if reversed it is not.

I think this type of sentiment is very prevalent in America, where Whites believe more and more that they have to be more careful and sensitive of what they say as to avoid being called racist, where they believe blacks are making everything about race.

I think USA is a worse case though where systematic inequality is more prevalent.

I like unusual collective nouns. My favourite is a murmuration to describe the millions of starling that gather and fly, creating quite a spectacle in the sky.

I've also heard the phrase a parliament of crows as a collective noun.

True, but it's also used for rooks and crows.

I learned that some people don't have a visual memory or are able to visualize things in their mind and it's called Aphantasia. Something as simple as picturing a shape in your head head they can't do, human mind is a wonderful and mysterious thing, I don't know how one could live without that visualization ability as for most of us we have always had it but they have never.

TIL that the inaugural match at the shitebox in 1880s had to be abandoned after a crowd of scum fans invaded the pitch !

The scum were losing 8-1 to Preston North End at the point it was abandoned.

    Plus ca change

As of January 2022, all vehicles that originally had Halogen headlamps will have an automatic MOT failure if those headlamps were converted to LED headlamps.
Only vehicles that originally had LED headlamps will pass that part of MOT

    That was already the case?

I’m sure they’re amending it to be the opposite - it’s now not an automatic fail.
