The tactics have not worked against teams in the bottom half trying to stay in the league -Falkirk and St Mirren. Kilmarnock will come to Celtic Park this Saturday and fight for their lives as well. We haven't shown as much heart as these teams. If TM is still here come the Kilmarnock game, surely it is a MUST win.

theres no "taking it on the chin and moving on" today. completely unacceptable.

our heaviest defeat outside old firm games in 30 years (dundee 1980)

I never watched the game, put SSN on to see the score late last night. Jumped oot ma seat when ah seen the huns score then was slammed back down to earth when I seen this.

    completely unacceptable

Mowbray said in his post match interview, that setting the team out like Rangers do is maybe the way to go in the SPL. Being hard to beat & hitting on the counter....it's April next week & there is (probably) less than 2 months of the season left to play...*?

He shows no desire & this must impact on his team, his selections are truely baffling.

He seems to find good enough partnerships & then breaks them up, N'Guemo/Crosas - Keane/Rasmussen & has dropped Boruc/Hinkel who are arguably 2 of our most consistent performers recently...*?

Leaving McGowan on in the 1st half was a mistake WE could all see, the game wasn't for him tonight - I think Mowbray didn't want to hurt his feelings by taking him off, which is nice - but it might just have cost him his job, which is plain * stupid.

We again played a lot of quick passing ball retention football in the 1st half, but again this resulted in very little goal attempts. I don't think that's really attacking flowing football, it's really just knocking it about in your own 2/3rds of the pitch - while the opposition camps in their own 18 yard box.

He's a very confusing individual & looks completely lost, I feel sorry for him - I felt like I was watching a very public nervous breakdown & that makes for very painful veiwing. C'mon Tony, you tried your best & thanks - but it's time to face up to the fact that your 5 year master plan, isn't or never has looked like working.

On Saturday I will watch the unveilling of the Tommy Burns Plaque then rip my ticket up and go home if Mowbary is still there . The only way the board will do anything is when it hurts them financially and I have had enough of being taken for a mug by thie board .

If you look at the team last night it's not really that much of a shock we were shown up: ZALUSKA-2nd best keeper at the club, WILSON-3rd best RB, THOMPSON-4/5TH choice CB, O'DEA-3/4th choice CB, BRAAFHEID-loan signing who looks all at sea in the SPL, McGOWAN-5th choice forward(if that) and just not good enough, KI-hasn't adapted to the SPL yet, SAMARAS-a fancy dan who only plays when he feels like it, totally unsuitable when the going gets tough. I stuck by TM for a long time but he has to go now, he seems intent on making life harder for himself and ultimately the team. Take the dropping of Boruc for example:there was a time this season when Boruc could well have been dropped but TM stuck by him saying he was the clear no.1, yet when Boruc finds his form TM drops him saying the keepers spot is up for grabs???? Mowbray has lost the dressing room(if he ever had it) and the support and his body language screams negativity, if he is still in charge next season it will be 3 in-a-row to rangers, it's that simple, and a scots cup win would only be papering over the cracks. I would put Lennon in charge till the end of the season and then see who was available.

The reason Boruc was dropped was because he had to go home for personal reasons.

Zaluska came in and done a fine job and therefore it's very difficult to just drop him again, especially given Boruc's dodgyness over the course of the season. So yeah the keeper spot was up for grabs, but I've always said Boruc is the better keeper and hopefully will be restored as number 1.

From the very first couple of games Mowbray's substitutions have been mental. There is no tactics - it is a simple case of throwing on more strikers.

But a winger is a better winger than a striker. A left-back is a better left-back than a winger. A midfielder is a better midfielder than a striker. Trying to force square pegs into round holes.

More strikers does NOT equal more attacking. These days even the most attacking sides play with 1 true striker (Barca, Arsenal recently) and then a number of attacking midfielders. They do not force strikers onto the wing if they can't really play there.

Look at Thierry henry when he first moved to Arsenal, when he was playing on the Wing he was was so bad even a league 1 side wouldn't touch im, but as soon as he moved to the middle he became one of the all time greates strikers

Maybe not the most clear cut of exampel fair enough, but the 4-2-3-1 is increasingly becoming the formation of choice for all the attacking teams, including Man U, Arsenal and Barca.

"Rangers have been very consistent - they haven't lost four goals in any game," said Mowbray.
"They set up differently - maybe that's the way to go.
"Maybe it isn't a league for trying to force the game and be expansive - maybe it is a league for playing defensive, negative football and having quality up front to counter-attack."
BBC BBC Sport - Football - Manager Tony Mowbray accepts blame for St Mirren defeat

Yes Tony, it is a league for PLAYING DEFENSIVE FIRST! First Rule is DO NOT CONCEDE!!" Second Rule is "SCORE A * GOAL!!"

This says it all for me.....if this clown is only just realizing this now, then we are * unless he goes TODAY!

He is absolutely clueless, and is just making it up as he goes along.:47:

    ENOUGH IS ENOUGH......:38:

Cut our losses and start over for next season, Earlier in the season I was willing to give TM time even though the results were disappointing, but I've had it now.....I want him out, he has inflicted enough damage on our beloved club.

...oh, and take all yer overpaid "don't give a *" flops with ya!:47:

I really hope only 20,000 turn up on Saturday if Mogga is still there then maybe the board will have the balls to sack him .

mediocrity reigns in board room!! Celtic need a top manager: Agenda for the man would be " You only have to beat one team" A really top man would see that as achievable and we would be successful every seaso not just beating 9 in a row but total supremacy. No one wants to buy into rangers and their debt. Now is the time to strike!!! We have given them league titles not lost them!!

watched game totally unacceptable he has got to resign today or be fired,if not then fan power should get him out of door,if he goes (when and not if)put lennon in temporary charge and ask henrik larsson to give a hand untill we get an experienced manager in.tm is obviously not got a clue and must be relieved of his duties.this is a result business we are in and he cant get results.we are celtic and we are not accepting this, boys out on the street would beat that celtic team,no hunger, fight, passion,so please, please go tm and cheerio to the blue noses treble
