Realy worried about the Centre backs. Looks like we need Jos there and to lighten up the lads and give them confidance. The midfeild looks fine but needs alot of chemestry between them but its only pre-season. Cha looks the part and can wait to see him soon. The game against Braga will be a hard game imo.

Last night we lacked a dominant centre-back, an attacking midfielder through the centre, and a stiker.

    well played good performance
    overall good run out

    mulgrew,crosas,fortune,maloney ledley standouts

samaras needs to pass the ball when he came on the guy on the right side never seen the ball once, good in possession but we dont need that not a team player,
o'dea was poor but nothing changes there he makes the same mistakes as mcmanus was making hes like a clone, lol

overall happy with the game looks promising

sammy was offside for his header, great penalty it has to be said.

odea slow to react for utds first goal

utds second goal, celtic defenders ball watching

utds third impossible deflection for zaluska to save

great highlights on you tube HD quality "posted in a earlir post"

after seeing highlights odear should not be anywhere near a celtic top he is a bombscare always on his backside,we need 2 no nonsense cbs and another lb and 2 goalscoring strikers if not it could all end in tears,so come on lenny have to be ruthless and weed out the ones that are not cut out for us

Well i have to point out that when your cb partner plays badly... O'dea it generally makes the other cb rogne look as bad because you need to work together, we were playing too high a line against diouf and obertan who were very quick and at that point cha wasn't on and he was the only one with the pace to catch them.

Secondly it was a 2nd/3rd Man U team but with Berbatov who really does ooze class sometimes and hes is a very good player sometimes there isn't much you can do. There were some good positives from the game.

Ledley - good with the ball, good runs into the box, needs to be given the ball more
Crosas - played well good spread of passing but needs a Brown to cover opposing attacking runs
Brown - well in the first half good touches and runs, needs to improve passing
Fortune - does well turning defenders and creates chances that he doesn't even see, why didn't he pass to Ki, needs to improve decision making
Mulgrew - good attacking and crosses, he will not be facing pace and skill of obertan/giggs/berbatov in the spl.

wasnt impressed at all with Maloney all he did was lose the ball
On the other hand I thought Forrest looked good would have drawn several cards if this game hadnt been a friendly

Mulgrew looks good going forward but lacks the pace to get back and defend which left us very open at the back

samaras was great in a game with no implication. the man has no heart. hopefully this raises his value in the shop window

won't be a problem if we can maintain possesion of the ball

Celtic have some spirit imo !

The main difference was that Man Utd's team knew their jobs so much better. They knew when to spread out as a unit and when to compact for passing moves. Something which we could do with having. Their reserves play similar to their first team (total football). Something which we aspire to do- but can do with stability.

Just back from Toronto. Drive back to New York took nearly 12 hours w/ traffic plus the most of an hour clearing the border. Worth every second to see the Hoops!! Feckin official as I was trying to get back to the States seemed to not believe that I drove from NYC to see a soccer match and spent one night. Asked me who was playing haha

Lennon and McCourt came back out to the field, after the match, to greet the few supporters hanging around. Was really impressed, but the more I thought about it, left me wondering what was wrong with the rest of the squad! All in all a great day out, scoreboard aside. The Bhoys put in a decent shift. Looking forward to seeing more of Cha and Ledley! HAIL HAIL

Did anyone watch the report from Sky Sports News? They showed you the fans and it showed you one american Celtic supported he said something in his american accent along the lines of "they're glory hunters this is where it's at baby celtic all the way baby" and then in the most brilliant scottish accent .....

"moan the tic!!" "ca-moan tha sellick!!"

was * brilliant wish someone had uploaded it to youtube
