Firstly well done to Ross County for a well deserved victory.

I don't think the team deserves to win anything this season and it's probably the worst Celtic team I have ever seen.
A cup win would maybe have done more harm than good leaving the board to think we are back on track whereas we couldn't be further off the rails!

We need to start from scratch, the whole team needs rebuilding, investment needs to be made but do we want to take the risk of handing this huge task to a very inexperienced manager like Lennon?
Don't get me wrong he may turn out to be a great manager one day but he is learning the trade and errors will be made, that's only natural. We are in a deep hole and need a top level experienced manager to get us out of it.

There comes a point when you can no longer rationalise, discuss and imagine improvements. This season is an absolute * disaster, so horrible to watch. The club need gutted, everything changed. That starts with a new, experienced, qualified manager. It develops with new training, * overhaul the changing rooms and everything. It demands (within very strict financial limitatons) older, wiser, harder heads to replace those who are too soft, spoiled or apathetic to wear the jersey (McGeady, Samaras, Brown, Naylor, perhaps?)

Give them three weeks off after the last day of the season. In those three weeks get the new manager in (who they should have tied up ASAP) and new characters in, expereinced professionals who can hold it togther under pressure. Get rid of those who are the problem, that are * the dyamic to the extent we have had a season like we just have. Come back for the start of a pre-season in which you start to develop a group of players who are genuinely a team, not a bunch of wee spoilt fannies. I hate to say it, but try and cultivate a bit of spirit and culture that Smith and McCoist have. Players like McCulloch and Weir (although I'd prefer some that are actually half-decent footballers) are what we need. Go * paintballing, mountain climbing, deep sea diving, I don't care, just cultivate a team that are together, understand what it means to wear the shirt and are ready for the task of playing for the old firm.

The mentality of that dressing room needs overhauled, it lacks character and spine. We need a manager to install that in them, give them some * balls. Increasingly I agree with the shout for Mick McCarthy to do this job.

Embarassed and ashamed, as bad as it has ever been.

This is not lennons fault, it is a spinless team with no fight who dont give a * about Celtic. Mowbray shouldnt have let Robson and Mcmanus go but the blame must go to the celtic players. Heavy reinvestment required

Hard to argue with anything Lennon said there. You can tell he's absolutely disgusted by the imposters he is looking at, just the same as we are.

first and foremost a dont blame lennon he changed it try to get a spark from the players but like what he just said no hunger or desire. Most of these players arent good enough for a team like us we have bought nofthing but bargains hoping they will be a success and sell them on. Aiden mc geady didnt turn up at all today he should have made way.Josh thompson young guy but if you cant get basic defending right then your not got enough for this team simple doesnt matter if your 17 18. Big summer clear out needed and reinvest but cant see a big clear out as where is the money coming from? we wont be in cl next season and europa league that will be a laughing stock aswell we need a manager with passion and drive and can buy good players that can put a smile back on our faces.

Another disgraceful display by a bunch of imposters calling themselves Celtic players, we simply don't appear to have any leaders or players who can follow a game plan.

However our problems are really more deep rooted than what's happening on the park, we have a Billionaire as a chairman who loves money more than he loves Celtic. We have * called Peter Lawwell who has worked so-called miracles by reducing the clubs debt and wage bill, the only problem is that our team are now absolute * as a direct result of his actions.

Our choice of managers and playing staff have been woeful, once again it proves bad judgement by Desmond and Lawwell, both are to blame. Lennon has virtually blown his chances after today's performance and result, only he knows why he only played with one out and out striker against a first division team in Glasgow. Samaras, Fortune and Mc Court should be shown the door tonight, they 're simply not good enough for Celtic.

The remaining games this season are meaningless, give young Mc Gowan and some other youngsters a chance, why not, I'm sure we'll get more effort from them than Samaras, Fortune, Mc Court, Mc Geady, Naylor, Hinkel, Brown and Brafheid.

Perhaps the real change hasto be at the highest level, either splash the cash Desmond or sell up and go !!!

1435: "I can't get angry. I am beyond angry. I have just told the players that they have gone out of every competition this season with a whimper. You can tell them things, but you can't give them hunger and desire and this side is sadly lacking in that," Celtic caretaker manager Neil Lennon on BBC Radio Scotland.

    Fair * play to lennon..

If them players even showed a tenth of the passion he shows for celtic then we would be in a far better place..

Absoltuely spineless performance from the lads today. I can accept lack of quality but the lack of effort should never happen.

If they can't even match the opposition for effort, then drop them.
