The lack of quality in our midfield is a serious concern landry done 1 thing good 1 thing bad the whole game way to inconsistent , scot brown has fire and drive but cant do the basics end off , aiden tried to do much and had a mare kamara is not a winger !!pass marks for boruc hinkel fortune and rogne

If TM isnt going to go (i wish he would becasue im sick of seeing his mickey rourke nose and emotionless face on the sidelines i hope he goes) then at least bring on Lennon on the sidelines becasue he was sitting 2 rows ahead o me last week and was shouting from the stand it would do us alot of good if he was added to first team staff.

There is no point in looking at Rasmussen coming into a game as a poacher when nothing went into there box ,Keane and Fortunee fell back 20yards because there was nothing coming from Midfield.

cant disagree.some of our great results over the scum under mon
were 1.0 with them never looking like scoring.
now just about any team look like scoring against us.
did you see aberdeen yesterday? totally dire yet score 4 against us.
dont think i can stand mowbrays style of football if your heart is in
your mouth every time the opposition attacks.

Agree, Lennon would at least do more than Peter Grant does at the moment

I agree that there was not any service from the midfield but I think it would make sense to bring on Rasmussen as if there was a break on the ball he would be there to score it. We lobbed it into the box quite a few times and the Rangers defense was able to head everything out. We needed someone that was good with his head and could find a way to scrap a goal. Keane and Fortune were both playing similar roles and were not near the box half of the time, not their fault as you pointed out.

Yep....total sense..i have said this many times...to beat the huns..you need a tough midfield, and robson and hartley would have hammered them today, remember when we had thomson in midfield, mcleod, big aitken, burns etc etc etc, you need the hard men when playing the huns, yet we had a paperweight midfield, who failed to take the game on, i predicted this yesterday and it came to pass, brown was poor even before he was cheated, nguemo had heart and played well, but caused goal, mcgeadie...this was his worse performance..he should have been off much earlier, and Kamara had a shocker....now imagine hartley and robson! we would have won today..i am sure about it!

I actually stopped watching in disgust after a while but from the part of the game I saw, most of our players were poor - Aidan, Broony, Kamara, Keane, Braafheid. The only guys who did decent enough were Hinkel, Rogne, NGuemo, Artur. Most of the team just were out fought or had an off day. I really do not like the left side of Moggas team with Kamara, Braafheid and then O'Dea. Maloney/McCourt/McGinn/Fox/Naylor/ was better IMO. Apart from NGuemo, I see no future in the loan players and they were panic measures to cover his inept dealings in the revolving door. The one thing I thought about Mogga was he was a good 'scout' but looking at the team today Mogga for all the ins and outs has not improved the quality of player and he has hugely decreased the ability of the team to win anything. Noone can argue with that. Watch the door doesnt hit you on the way out Mogga. We now need to look for one of those tough minded super organised tactically canny coaching (not personality) orientated managers who can build winning teams. Mogga is not any of these things. I do not know who is (and no I am not saying WGS should come back before anyone says that) but we need someone more in the WIM/WGS/MON type mould who put organisation, tactics and winning above style.

Robson was no better than Brown. We needed Crosas today.

Thats 4 games without a win against them *, there is something wrong
here, if your are going to build a team to compete in the spl, we need strength
there is no room for luxury players when its like this.
so TM tactics will never get the beating of Smith like this and this to me makes my blood boil

TM you have had your chance and if he was in the Ipox hot seat he would be gone by now

Crosas did much to calm the game down last time we played and I think we miss him.

I'd prefer him and Brown in midfield

i saw little difference between brown and n guemo today. Neither pass great, both retrieve possession well. Brown busts forward occassionally. N Guemo makes great last ditch challenges occassionally

I agree here, and that's why Ki should've played, we would get plenty of delivery for Rasmussen. Though, even without Ki, punting high to Morten would still be viable. He's strong, and can get to those balls, unlike the preferred forwards of Mowbray.

He never went missing. He does everything you need a CM to do. He plays the smart passes and helps control possession and set up attacks. It may not be the most flashy job in the world but it gets the job done and certainly would have helped today. Brown doesn't know what the * he is doing and Robson hardly did the job either.
