I was surprised that he was back in the team only one week after that concussion. Good for him winning the title at such a young age and being the first foreign keeper to do so. :50:

How many people are celebrating on that square? And is that statue wearing a red shirt? :56:

Can't tell for sure. Between 150k and 300k people partying in that square, I would say. Any guess in that range is valid:icon_mrgreen:

    The statue:

    Amazing numbers.

Who the * had the balls to climb up and dress the statue? How is it even possible to get up there? :56:

The jersey was put by professionals, but this guys climbed to the top of the statue afterwards.

Climbing to the top of that statue is almost a tradition in every celebration in this past decade. Lot of skill and a bit of madness:smiley-laughing002:

Speaking of traditions: where do they keep the eagle? Is there a special person who's taking care of it?

:smiley-laughing002: That reaction was in the Benfica 3-1 Porto cup game. Pinto da Costa is a bit senile at this point of his life and every Porto failure is being associated with that. The man who won/bought them titles for 30 years is now very fragile.

Yea, there's one person in charge of that. We have a bigger eagle, the usually seen flying in Estádio da Luz, plus one or two smaller eagles for visits, photos, etc.

Can't tell for sure how much this "eagle keeper" earns, but the previous one received 10k€/month.

League Cup: Porto 0-0 Benfica (3-4 after penalty kicks)

Porto best 11 vs Benfica reserve squad (main players resting for Juventus)
Benfica with 10 men for 60' (like in the Benfica 3-1 Porto for the portuguese cup)

    Portuguese competitions:

    Supercup: Porto
    League: Benfica
Portuguese Cup: Benfica vs Rio Ave
League Cup: Benfica vs Rio Ave

Why are they playing the Taça final in Leiria instead of somewhere bigger like the Estádio Nacional? Leiria isn't that much further north than Lisbon for the Rio Ave fans really.

Yeah, if its for a neutral city then Coimbra seems logical.

Isn't it just a neutral stadium?
