    In all honesty, I can watch any sport, and nothing really bores me. I must be weird or something.

    I can sit and watch 2 Baseball games back to back, 7 hours, and I love it. Love American Football, have done since I was a kid, cause my old man loves it as well.

    I suppose the only thing I wont go out my way to watch is NASCAR when they are on the Oval track. Mainly cause I dont really get it, and its dead dull, but if its on, I will watch it in case theres a crash !!

    Spot on with American Football. If you understand the game going on behind the game... it's not as stop-finish as it appears. The formations and metagame is very good if you get it -- the problem is that it's so complex now that I think most people who haven't grown up watching it probably won't get it.
    Also agree with B1g-- College is the best. NFL isn't as fun -- partially because the "rivalries" are very hollow, the stadiums sterilized (as opposed to the drunken mass orgies at College venues cramming 100k people into what would be a 60k NFL stadium) and it's impossible to get behind a good player who will just ditch you later.
    There is virtually no loyalty in US professional sports anymore.

    For me, baseball is terribly boring. I used to love it as a kid... but now it just takes waaaayyyy too long. I mean, seriously... does the pitcher really need 30s or more just to throw another ball or strike for a foul? The metagame of pitching is hardly enthralling either...

    True, its brilliant.

    just look at the Dallas game on Sunday, they fight back in the 4th, get a field goal for overtime, field goal is blocked, but falcons coach calls time out just before field goal is blocked, field goal is taken again, and is successful.

    dallas win coin toss in OT, don't get anything, and falcons win on a blocked punt return, awesome drama.

    :56:Good to see that ridiculously stupid tactic backfire. It's crap like that makes me hate US sports. The last 2 minutes of any basketball is unbearable... thing I hate most about US sports is how legally abusing the rules become part of the game within the game. :31:
