Popular sports that bore the shit

What part of 'popular sports' don't a lot of you understand?

Bowls, curling, sailing - these are not popular sports, really, are they?

 

American football bores me to tears....

 

Define 'popular' then?

Sailing made the news like anything else when I was in Australia hence why it falls in the popular category for me.

 

They are still televised though, so if they are not popular why would they show it?

 

No, I'm too tired, to be honest, but curling a popular sport? How many people do you know watch hurling on the tele, go out of their way to see how its stars are getting on, or actually play the game?

Same with sailing, who the * watches sailing on the tele, apart from at the Olympics when a fellow countryman is in the action?

 

not saying I personally like it or think it is popular but I pay my licence fee and that * is meant to entertain me., and fails!

Lets get a petition to have * sports removed from telly and we will see how popular these sports are

 

Despite your thinking, competition sailing is popular

And it bores the * out of me!

 

In Australia, maybe.

Gets absolutely * all publicity up here, though.

 

And how anyone can find rugby boring is * kidding themselves.

Rugby bores me to tears. Its like American football was 60 years ago. No forward pass and boring dog piles on every play.

College American football is the most passionate sport on earth besides maybe 5% of football clubs and maybe a few Rugby teams.

NFL sucks * though.

 

Sad thing is i like watching fishing progs but fishing is fekin boring without beer

And all of the other sports mentioned are n,t worth the time spent watching them

2) Horse Racing
3) Baseball
4) Cricket
5) Rugby Union
6) Ice Hockey

That will do for starters!

 

People who don't understand the game call American Football boring. But if you followed it you'd see that no sport has had as many close (literally last second) finishes.

It is a fantastic sport.

 

I like to call it a brutally violent chess match. It's very fun to watch and see the match ups if you know what's going on.

For me, the only one is Cricket.

 

Cricket, Rugby, Formula 1, Horse Racing...

...A typical Sunday's terrestial tv sports schedule. No wonder Sunday TV is *.
