is tht not as bad as them?

comments like tht show that some Celtic fans are just as bad. I don't have much time for the queen but I think it is pathetic when people can't observe a minutes silence for a person who has just died.

I think it was actually 24 seconds.

I think it is pretty low for a set of fans to sully an occassion such as this by extreme bigotry.

Nevertheless, I expect it from ALL mindless morons who go to football matches including Celtic and Rangers fans who would relish the prospect of making an * of their club by debasing a minutes silence when 'their' particular antichrist has died.

Saying that, the west of Scotland and Northern Ireland must be the only two countries in the world were St Patricks Day is a 'contentious issue' and where they gladly * on the memory of an man who devoted his life to peace.

The Balkans eat yer heart out.

Loads of Celtic fans are on their high horse about this "minutes" silence. But I think you get Celtic fans who are just as sad and pathetic, and they sing their songs which have nothing to do with Celtic. I bet when they Queen dies it wont only be Jackie's girl who won't observe the minutes silence.

This country is made up mostly of protestants, and there is no doubt the bigotry in this country is shocking, but I don't think Celtic fans are angels either.

Why dont you concentrate in trying to rid the site of violent and secterian threads mate rather than having a go at someone who abhors them.

It all comes down to respect. As a few people have said, a minute's silence is nothing more than a mark of respect from those who respect the person it's being celebrated for. Since plenty of the fans clearly had no respect for the pope, irrespective of their creed, then they didn't feel obliged to follow it. They show themselves up as ignorant as a result.

have to agree with you HH, there are idiots in every club ..... we could use this as a lesson for our own fans of what not to do. Dont get me wrong, I couldn't care less if the queen died tomorrow, but I think we should not let our club down by sinking to the level of the animals
