Yes it wasn't a good game and skippy and jan bettter pick their * game up especially for the old fim game. Lets be honest thogh- who the * have rangers played? Falkirk n hearts-*. Ranngers would have been beat by utd today. Last season we would have won that game. Want to see loovens and crosas in.

I'm tired of seeing Hinkel getting a game week in week out just because of his international pedigree. The guy hasn't impressed me the slightest ever since he's arrived at CP. And no more "Match Fitness" excuse. Or if he is indeed lacking match fitness, then he can * off to the reserves until he regains it!

I don´t fear anyone as all I care about is what Celtic do. We produce more sub standard perforemances than quality ones over the piece and with the same players on the park as last season we can´t expect anything else this season.

While I was writing this I was just listening to WGS saying Caldwell and Mick did excellent. Is he telling porkies or does he genuinly believe that nonsense?:47:

It was pure mince. WGS made the change of Skippy - Sammy too late. Would have liked to see Crosas, but no way. Dundee Utd should have had a penalty, no doubt about that, but we were mediocre. Could do better IMO.

For WGS tactics to work he needs the wing backs to get forward and the CB's to do exactly what they did today , that's why he thinks McManus and Caldwell are doing fine because they are doing what he wants. It amazes me we are still trying to get a LB when it's vital to his tactics.

I reckon only hartley, nakamura and boruc were the only players to get pass marks today. Defence looked like they were playin together for the first time, midfield was disjointed, hardly 3 or 4 passes strung together except for a wee bit in the second half and as for up front. Those chances that JVOH and skippy missed were criminal. Still, havin said that i'll keep the faith and hope WGS can sort it out for next week.

Lets first take the Wing backs- IMO if WGS wants forward thinking Wing backs he needs two of them not just a LB. Hinkel is poor IMO and if Caddis is not any better (he would play if WGS thought he was) So in that case we need a new RB and a new LB.

Centre Backs- Maybe you can enlighten me. What did the two CB´s do today that WGS wanted. Apart from one of them give away two maybe three pens and the other one was pulled out of position to many times. For me we have two CB´s who defend too far apart, have little positional sense and in Caldwells case is a total liability.

He must be happy with them positionally, i'm not there on the training ground so i'm as much in the dark as you are but i would imagine if he wants the WB's to get forward he would want the CB's to sit deeper. Maybe WGS opinion is that if the WB's were doing a better job then there would be less pressure on McManus and Caldwell and therefore they would make less mistakes.

He may well be happy, that is what is concerning me as I don’t know how anyone can be.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" /><o:p></o:p>

I know what you’re saying about the WB´s and you may well be correct however for me it’s the midfield that doesn’t protect the CB´s enough. <o:p></o:p>
    <o:p></o:p>
We have discussed the problems to death on this site from mediocre players to wrong formations. <o:p></o:p>
    <o:p></o:p>
WGS is the man to make the decisions and he is obviously pretty content, as he would have addressed some of our concerns well before now. Last season was forgettable, until the last eight games. It seems we are in store for more of the same this season, another season of boring football.<?xml:namespace prefix = v ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:vml" /><v:shapetype id=_x0000_t75 stroked="f" filled="f" path="m@4@5l@4@11@9@11@9@5xe" o:preferrelative="t" o:spt="75" coordsize="21600,21600"> </v:shapetype>

For me as a Celtic fan who likes to see us play the Celtic way it is hard to watch this current side and get any real pleasure from the way it performs.<o:p></o:p>
    <o:p></o:p>
I know I will get it in the neck for my last sentence but I am not seeing many performances that befits Celtic’s traditions, that to me is disapointing.<o:p></o:p>

I agree totally with your sentiment, im just not losing my head because we drew at Tannadice on the second game of the season. Most of the supporters know what the team need in terms of personnel and i will be just as dissappointed as others if we don't get what we need.
