I don't know how you'd end up on the right without strongly agreeing to all the "what's best for corporations is best for all of us," "the freer the market, the freer the people" and "companies sole aim should be to profit its shareholders" and the rest of it. All those just seem absurd capitalist excretions to me.

That's sort of what I thought too. But again, I am struggling to see the relevance. Unless they are comparing religion to superstition.

Strongly agreeing with free market economics would place you on the right of a political compass chart?

If people are naturally unlucky, which would infer that people too are naturally lucky, then it goes against the doctrine of people being born as equals, surely? That's how I interpret it anyway.

I think so. I've always associated free market economics with laissez-faire capitalism.

Possibly. It's a bit of a vague question, I'm really not sure what to make of it.

"Those who are able and refuse to work shouldn't expect societies support."

Always an interesting one is this.

I agree with the statement and am verging on the strongly agree option.

I don't know how any sane or rational person could choose strongly agree to "what's good for the corporations is good for all of us"?

Apple's billions in profit is great for its chief execs and for the Foxconn assembly staff in China on $100 a month for their 12 hour shifts.

    Im a left libertarian.

As others have said, the test is certainly skewed towards ending up in the left side of things rather than the right. There are a couple of questions on corporations where it is just plain wrong to strongly agree, regardless of political persuasion.

There are also a few questions in there that have no bearing to what I would call left and right politics.

The test is flawed. Question 4

Our race has many superior qualities, compared with other races.

I have not met another race yet , as we are the human race
