They hold nothing on Nintendo exclusives! Mario, Zelda, metroid, Mario kart, donkey Kong, zombieU (now) can't beat a good 3D world exploring Mario game! As you can see I'm Still a big kid lol just ordered Mario sunshine for gamecube and donkey Kong 64 lol p.s. also getting a ps4 because not all games go to Nintendo

 

List of exclusives on each console

 

The only Xbox exclusives I can think of is Forza, Halo and Gears of War.

I've played Forza and it's good but comparing the driving physics to Gran Turismo it's some way behind as a driving sim, nice customisation options though but totally unnecessary for a game which sells itself as a racing sim. Forza Horizon I haven't played but I find interesting although there's no innovation there, Need For Speed and Test Drive Unlimited have done the open world racing genre to death.

Halo I've played (Halo 3 I think it was) but it didn't interest me, plenty better FPS's out there.

Gears of War I haven't played, it seems to get excellent reviews though but so do most of Sony's exclusives.

I just had a look at a list of Xbox exclusives and I've always thought Sony were ahead by miles but * me, I didn't think they were THAT far ahead :smiley-laughing002:

 

Kids games :smiley-laughing002: Yeah but you would expect that from Nintendo, they've always fashioned themselves as a family orientated company. Didn't they used to have a ban on overly violent video games back in the 90's?

 

Ouch! I remember watching the Sony's E3 presentation a couple of years ago and they had Valve's head honcho up on stage announcing Portal 2 was coming to PS3, he got booed coming on stage :smiley-laughing002:

the only exclusive type things that annoy me are the DLC for the likes of BLOPS 2 that xbox get like a month earlier

Trials HD is Xbox only? that's a game changer I am staying with Xbox :smiley-laughing002:

 

In fairness Sony did the same with a few of the Battlefield 3 DLC packs but it seems to be more of a Microsoft thing all round, I'm sure they did it with Fallout New Vegas as well. Looking at their exclusive line up though they would be better off channeling that money into game development instead of throwing it away on early DLC packs, I doubt that sways anyone's choice when choosing a console.

 

it deff wouldn't sway my decision tbh. i think lots of "xboxers" will be getting a ps3.

 

It's pretty shocking actually, although I only knew a few Xbox exclusives I really didn't expect them to be virtually all they had.

 

Aye, sure they never had any violence lol. There slowly changing though, always had the newest nintendo and playstation (after sega died)

I remember Mortal Kombat on the SNES where people kicked up a * storm because you had to input a code (or kode in MK speak :smiley-laughing002 just to get the finishers.

 

yeah , i reckon both consoles will be out late oct ealry nov , if you look at what games are planned to be coming out then theres hardly any which leads me to believe it will be then.

If thats correct what will happen to the likes of fifa 14 and the new PES ? with them getting released august ?

 

did xbox not get the gta dlc first as well also with the exclusives i'd rather play halo ,forza and gears of war than anything you listed execpt heavy rain but as i said thats just me it all about what people prefer

 

i'd imagine they'll still come out on ps3 and xbox i know fifa 13 came out on the wii and the wii u they'll still release games for current consoles

 

Nothing really, they'll continue supporting the PS3 for another year or two at least, PES 2013 was actually released on PS2 last year.

 

same with fifa the prices for them are quite shocking i think fifa was £20 in game for the ps2

so if thats correct the games on the ps4/xobox720 will not be differently coded than the ones for the ps3/360 as if they were they wouldn't run on the ps3/360
