Look at the state of these clubs. All over the * place splashing money out and sacking good managers left right and centre. Changing club colours, changing names, staff with no idea who plays for their club and players who have no idea what club they play for.

You want to be a part of this ? Fair enough, but it's not for me.

I don't really understand what you're point is. There are plenty of examples in Scotland of managers not deserving to get sacked, a lot of money spent (on a smaller scale) on duds. Joe Kinnear being a total idiot is being used as a reason for not wanting Celtic to go to England? Could the proposed amalgamation of Hearts and Hibs be used as a reason for us to leave Scotland?

    Utterly bizarre post.

It highlights the sheer madness of the EPL.

Its not bizarre in the slightest.

As I've highlighted in my post, all the things he has mentioned happens in Scotland too.

As opposed to what happens in Scottish football?!

Fans getting arrested for singing songs, threats to ban supporters from taking flags to matches, a governing body which is corrupt to the core and which wilfully turns a blind eye to decades of financial doping and punishes the wrongdoers with a slap on the wrists, a complicit media which ignores basic principles of business law and liquidation because they need a 'two sides of the same coin' story to write about, attempts made to stamp out politics from the stands while at the same time advertising political parties and issues...

Bollocks, just because lenny said it,it must be true..
Neil lennon wants to manage in your league, with celtic that would be a massive boost or even a dream of his at this stage of his career from a personal point of view and for his managerial career as a whole..
It would never be a buisness decision, get your head out that epl bubble, you should know being in it and what it's done to clubs like yours that any decisions are strictly buisness and in other words...money..

Hard working football fans south of the border don't attend games anymore for 2 reasons..
Money, they can't afford the matchday experience nevermind season tickets and 2.the game down here is ruined by money men throwing cash at anything and everything for a quick fix of success and the hardcore support feels no attachment anymore..

You's play on your own,I'd much prefer to sit back and watch your clubs all fall to the wall as the money men struggle to keep the league afloat..

That last post has talked more about the Scottish government than our actual game?

They guy was posting about the English game and mentality that has grown within clubs.

And to Padraig, you have saw none of those thing on a scale that size. The English game has went bonkers - even their own fans agree ffs. :smiley-laughing002:

Lets get this straight Neil Lennon wants to manage Celtic in the BPL if the Celtic fans want it; nothing personal. Football stadia south of the boarder are full (Scottish stadia aren't). Teams in the BPL can attract the best players in the world. Like I said it is only football; go to work all week come the weekend have a drink and watch the football. Nothing too complicated really.

You also have a population 10x that of Scotland.....

Some of our stadiums are oversized for the population tbh.

As highlighted - extensively, our crowds are very good for our size.

Lets get this straight: if you want to watch a game of football at the weekend you don't have to pay stupid money to watch the EPL. Nothing too complicated really.

Does that not effect the game in Scotland then?

Nevertheless, nearly all the points raised criticising English football happens or has happened in Scotland- just on a smaller scale.

Hypothetically,if we were asked down, you think it would be neil lennon's choice? That's laughable in itself..
Even more laughable is think peter lawwell would ask for a fan vote first..

We get good crowds for the size of our countries, don't compare 5 million to 60 odd and places like dingwall that have a population of 8 thousand or something compared to say sunderland who will be into the hundred thousands..

You attract the best players in the world because you are all chasing success and will pay anything,300 grand and buy all there families gaffs and private school fees and whatever else they will bump you for..
You also have marketed the brand and done wonders for a product that's nowhere near it's cracked up to be..
    Fulham/norwich...no thanks..

Yep work all week and watch the game in the......pub..

You said in another post thay if Celtic joined the BPL then it would have nothing to do with working class fans like yourself. As you have said if the offer was ever made for Celtic to join the BPL it would be a plea or Charity. These things have been considered. Neil Lennon is a true representation of the fans of Celtic, so if Neil Lennon is prepared to walk a Celtic team out in the BPL then it is because Celtic fans want it. Nothing to do with boardrooms but from the terraces.

As regards to money you don't have to pay anything you can watch Sunday league for nothing.

But I never quoted your next post did I,I quoted your last to me..

You said neil lennon wants it,as long as the fans do..pretty much that anyway..

Which if it was his choice then we'd be gone..

Are you ready to divulge yet?

I'm amazed here that you, today have just gone top and are touching distance away from winning the league for the first time in 20 odd years yet you are on here preaching your love and inside info that celtic are coming to england..
Come with fatcs to back up your statements and untill then we'll leave it there..
Well done on the win today and I hope you go on and win in,ta da laa..

To clarify if Neil Lennon walks a Celtic team out onto a Premier League pitch then he does that as a representative of the Celtic fans not as 'Neil Lennon'. What I am saying are facts BT sport are going to bid billions for the rights to ALL football in the UK. This includes allowing 22 teams in the BPL with the top 2 Scottish teams being given them 2 extra places. Mark my words you wait until the next tv deal is announced then you will see the facts.

Also thanks; LFC are the champions elect.
