Looks a no brainer to me. He could turn out to be even better than Abada.
And as you say, save a few bucks in the process too.

 

They don't play the same positions. Abada is a RW. Duk is a striker who can provide cover at LW cause he cuts inside from the left wing and shoots with his right foot. I doubt he'd be equally effective at RW. He's a finisher, yet he'd be frequently forced to cross/pass the ball instead of shoot.

Looks a talent and would be cheap..

 

What, like Abada is, aye? Away.

Literally any right-footer on the right would face the same challenge to cut in. Doesn’t mean they’d be less inclined to take a shot. Would just sometimes be from different (and in some people’s opinion, worse) positions.

I think Duk is good, but we could get better elsewhere. Saying he’s too different in style to Abada is bizarre though.

Scored Aberdeen's two goals today. His price is going to go up and up. We need to act fast. Can we not get him on a pre contract or something ?

And would like to see us bring in a quality goalkeeper this summer, and replacements for Turnbull and O'Riley if they leave. And add another good left back, unless Ange has thoughts of promoting Matthew Anderson to the first team squad, and by all accounts he is meant to be good enough.

 

He just signed for Aberdeen last summer, sure he signed a 3/4 year deal when he did.

 

Aye, Duk is definitely worth a punt. Some return from him this season, given how * Aberdeen have been for the most part.

Ludovit Reis as well in that leagues a good player. An 8 who has a good range of passing and dig about him, as well as providing goals and assists. Looks like he has a bit of everything to be honest..

Only 22 and came through at Barca. Has 8 goals and 4 assists in 27..

 

Unless there's a clause in his contract, no one is getting him for less than £3m. He is showing what he can do at Aberdeen and has another 2 years left on his deal.

Jota would be whispering in his ear for us though. I reckon he'd massively push for a move to us if we were to express interest.

 

I really like Reis. He's a classy player.

 

I wouldn’t be surprised if Aberdeen were holding out for more unless there is a release clause in his deal. You have to remember Benfica are due 50% of any fee they receive.

He has time on his deal and is having a great season. Yeah the player would push for a move, he already has started talking that up, all be it talking about going to England.

From an Aberdeen perspective they may accept a lower upfront fee with bigger ad ons, as I believe the 50% tends to only apply to the initial transfer fee.

 

If we sell O'Riley in the summer, I hope we are having a look at Taylor Booth. 21 year old, United States International. Plays for Utrecht in Holland. Absolute baller. Been quality this season. Valued at £6m on TransferMarket but he's been good this year. Quick, skillful and excellent with both feet.

 

Dilane Bakwa. 20 year old, left footed, versatile winger..

Scored 5 and assisted 5 in 28 in the French second division. Looks like he could end up being a big player..

 

Anybody saw much of Paulo Gazzaniga ? Never heard of him until tonight. Looked decent against Barca, came out and took crosses well. Seen he's on loan from Fulham, been at Spurs and Southampton as well. Argentinian, 31 years old. Transfermarket has him valued at £2.5m.

 

Would agree with the Duk shouts. Every time I've seen him he's impressed. Had the Huns on toast earlier in the season. Up until Goodwin shat it and subbed him and Miovski off, sat back and eventually lost the game.

 

German Berterame. 24 year old, versatile wide man who's quick and physically imposing but has mental numbers. 11 goals and 5 assist this season and had 17 and 4 assists last in Argentina..

Daniel Ruiz. 21 year old playmaker who looks unreal but on loan just now in Brazil. Had full Colombia cap this year..



Marcelo Perez. 21 year old Paraguayan striker..
