Andre Franco attacking midfielder 23 from Estoril in Portugal. He’s playing his first season in their top flight and has 6 goals and 4 assists in 16 games, all be it a few of the goals are penalties.

Has played wide on either side in the lower leagues but mainly been used as an attacking midfielder this year. Has a good left foot, both shooting and crossing, has a good touch and is comfortable carrying the ball. He also makes a lot of intelligent runs or moves in to space off the ball always offering an option for his team mates. Out of contract at the end of the season so would he a bosman or cheap fee just now.

 

Thought we'd have offered Souttar a pre contract.

I can't see how any team in Scotland will be able to withstand the nonstop attack of the Hoops with the players being brought in now with possibly a few more in the off season.

Also think they might cause a few surprises in Europe next season.

 

Yes, I said it before I'd be sad when we didn't get him he looks the business and would absolutely fit with us especially as we still seem to be looking at wide options, I'd take him over Ferhat but that ones gone a bit cold.

Was linked with a move to Osijek the other week, surprised he's not got bigger clubs looking at him.

Martin Ojeda is another we should be looking at, currently linked with a 4M euros move to Dinamo.



Can play either wing and has a good return, 12 goals and 3 assists in 23 matches for a midtable side.

Think Ali Almoez is out of contract in the summer and plays all across the front three for his club, although Qatar only play him through the middle were he has 36 goals in 76 matches.

Sorba thompson at huddersfield, watched a game the other week and he was very good at right wing, very attacking.

Checked him and i think he has the most assists in the championship, i dont think its a market we will look at though with ange at the helm as england in general doesnt always equal value for money.

Could be wrong though with links to buchanan and the failed mcgree transfer

 

Osijek in Croatia are apparently trying to get him.

I know our current Greeks haven’t done much but Taxiarchis Fountas at Rapid Vienna would be another decent shout for an attacking midfielder/ Versatile forward.

He has 45 goals and 19 assists in 90 games for them, is 26 so coming into his peak years, has intelligent movement and very capable finisher from both inside and outside the box off either foot. His deal is up in the summer so wouldn’t cost much.

He is quick as well and got a good touch. Given he was involved with Salzburg as a youngster he has a good work rate.

 

Probably has been mentioned previously, but now that McGree seems to have fallen through, would there be any benefit to getting Marco Tilio on a loan for the rest of the season?

Hard to know where his ceiling is at the moment, but certainly a very attack minded player, the type Ange loves.

Sorba Thomas. I’ve watched quite a few of his games. Started the season on fire and got called up to Wales for the WC qualifying. Had a quiet patch until recent, much like Abada did, but seems back in form again.

Quick and tricky player, can go past a fullback and his greatest strength is his crossing. Talking of crossing, his corners are fantastic. His weakness is he doesn’t score enough.

Currently playing in a system where he doesn’t get much ball, more of a counter attack style, which is probably curtailing his chance to shine in the front third. He usually plays on either side of a front 3, but is currently playing as RWB, which isn’t helping him much.

Now after all that, he’s probably out of our range with the inflated championship prices. Probably worth £8m+
