Was having a scope about Slova Bratislava's squad, they have a young winger that could be one to watch for us

    Nino Marcelli, 19, Winger,
Cracked into their team last season and had 47 games so far scoring 12 and assisting 6 can play left or right but prefers left.
Transfermarkt has him as 3.5m euros value.

If he shows up in the CL as a player we would want to sign he’s probably already beyond the fee we would be willing to play.

Sort of guys if they have it we want to go for before they showcase they’re talent on the CL stage.

David Moller Wolfe is the left back we should be after, started for Norway last night only 22 and moved to AZ last year. Big, strong and fast plus good in the final 3rd.

Saw him on the free agent list as well, in a heart beat to add that level of experience in the backline.
A safety net almost for Trusty and Scales.
CCV, Kjaer, Trusty, Scales - I'd be good with that.

Matip as well, but feel Kjaer wages would be more reasonable in negotiations.

Aye the market we need to be in for a real progression, is players in the Engels bracket, or this guy above. 19-21 is a decent age for the project etc, but we need them more ready than what we've had before. A year or two full seasons before they crack it on a European stage.

Na, I don't think it excludes us, slogan are the lowest ranked team in the competition I believe and they don't do huge fees usually so would still be an attainable target for us.

We do have a good platform for people to move onto the prem etc and it sits in our model, the Engels capture is a big one given he left the bundesliga to come to us so could be a tip to more big talents like that

I think he will be one we will look back on not getting over the line in the Summer 2023 market, apparently Brondby were saying they would only sell for more than €20m at the end of he window there.

For Brondby this season he is on 10 games 7 goals and 3 assists across the league and European qualifiers. Add in Denmark U21 games and he has 2 goals and 2 assists in 2 games.

He would fit in with us perfectly too, as he can play right across the front line in a front 3, presses well and has plenty of pace and stamina, has shown good link up play and now adding the volume of goals.

A left winger worth keeping an eye on is Sondre Ørjasæter, a left winger playing for Sarpsborg in Norway, still only 20. He has 5 goals and 6 assists in 20 games this season.

Predominantly right footed but looks to have a lot of talent, he has quick acceleration, good close control and first touch, a nice range of passing and secure in possession and can finish. It really looks like it is a case of if he can scale what he is doing.

At 20 he has a bit of filling out to do, but has a good frame to grow into at just under 6ft tall.

He counts Stefan Johansen as a team mate this season so could get him to put in a good word.

Goncalo Guedes isn't getting a sniff at Wolves.

Will be on a fortune but I'd be asking the question on loan in January.

Even in the window there, i think he would have been attainable for us.
But now he is red hot and i think he will move to a bigger league.

He has explosive pace and i think he would have complemented the players/system we already have.

Yeah as mentioned apparently they were quoting teams over €20m for him at the end of August there. I think some of that might be driven by teams paying inflated fees for guys at Nordsjaelland like that boy Harder we were linked with and Copenhagen getting big money for their main striker from the same league.

Kvistgaarden has everything we need in a forward player perhaps minus a bit of height but Idah fulfils this. He is an athletically gifted player, who can see a pass, makes intelligent movements, works hard and this season his finishing has come on well.

I think even from his highlights reels you can see a player that is maturing in a very good way. His ones last year he had good qualities mixed with areas needing to improve but the one below and his numbers this year suggest a very capable forward player who can operate anywhere across a front 3.

I do think the boat has sailed but if you could get him it would give us a similar luxury to in centre midfield. Where you could almost start any combination of Kyogo, Idah, Kuhn, Maeda and Kvistgaarden would be devastating with Forrest as an experienced back up for either wing and Yang as a development option.

Early shout but Papa Gueye at Aberdeen has started well. Powerful, quick and can play as striker and winger.

One to keep an eye on but he could be that third striker as well as taking Palma’s place in the squad.

Shankland is nearing 30 and a few stone overweight. Never wanted him near CP.

Said this lad could be a decent squad player. Who mentioned anything about Kyogo leaving…

For a left winger I would be tempted to go back to Ausburg and put in a bid for Ruben Vargas who is out of contract at the end of the season.

He would want a decent wage but is a regular international for Switzerland, so has experience of playing international tournaments. Has played nearly 150 Bundesliga games too.

You'd imagine he'd have so many suitors that we'd be well out the picture on a free..

Probably a reason we were able to get Engels was because we were prepared to go all out..

I agree it would be a tough deal to get done but even being willing to offer them a fee to take him in January so they don’t lose him for nothing.

Wages would be tough. With the Touré links it at least sounds like we are looking for another winger and I am glad to hear that.

I see Jens Peter Hauge is firing again and only on loan back at Bodo/Glimt until January. They do have an option to buy but if he fancies a chance abroad again I think he would thrive here.

I never saw the full game but what I did tonight he had a stinker. Worst I have seen him play by a long way. He used to occasionally play left of a back 3 but more often used as a left back/ left wing back.
