Should be all over him. Makes sense as well. Has good experience at a younger age.

    Michael Cooper

24 year old Plymouth goalkeeper. Some of their fans saying he’s their best ever in goals and there seems to be a lot of hype down south about him. Been linked with Ipswich and Sheffield United.

Turned down a new contract so wants to move on.

Josip Šutalo is reportedly being shifted by Ajax, according to Croatian media. Bad stint. Now, us going for him might be a bad idea, too.

On Plymouth, it may not be possible given his form last year but I would take Morgan Whittaker for our right wing, a tall, quick left footer that would be ideal for Rodgers inverting wingers.

Be interesting to see how much they are looking for given they spent €20m on him just last summer. Possibly a loan to buy option.

I had suggested Thomas Strakosha from Brentford and thought his wages may have been an issue but turns out he is heading to AEK Athens for about €20k a week so we should have easily been able to afford that. I also doubt Brentford will be asking for much for him as he has slipped well down their list of keepers and has just a year left on his deal.

There are still some amount of achievable good out of contract players out there too, that would help make our budget go further. You could actually make a half decent team out them.

GK - Gaetan Coucke- Mechelen, seems to have done very well for them for the last two seasons and a pretty well rounded keeper.
RB- Reull Walters - Arsenal, a promising young player who wants first team football.
LB - Sergi Cardona - Las Palmas, likely to to a bigger La Liga team but a cracking left back.
CB - Scott McKenna and David Affengruber, Notts Forrest and Strum Graz
DCM - Renato Tapia, Celta Vigo
CM - Leandro Lopes and Callum O’Hare, Cercle Brugge and Coventry
LW - Sekou Koita, can play anywhere from attacking midfield, either wing or a striker. Good goal return for Salzburg
RW - Nicholas Pepe, Trabonzspor - flopped at Arsenal but seems to have had decent form in Turkey. A big powerful, quick left footed right winger.
ST - Mbaye Niang, Empoli - had a nomadic career after a good start at Rennes but scored at 1 in 2 in Turkey and Serie A over the last season and also has a decent number of assists. Is a Rodgers type centre forward and could be a decent experienced option with close to 300 games in Serie A and Ligue 1.

I just want Lennon Miller for an outfield player. We need his talent in our team.

Wouldnt go near Pepe. Poor mentality and wouldnt count on him when the going got tough. would be an expensive flop in my opinion.

Fair play on Pepe but there are others there that could be picked ahead of him, the point I was making is there are a lot of players available for no transfer fee who should be within our price range and given the amount of business we need to be doing getting one or two helps the transfer budget go further.

22 year old attacking mid Yuito Suzuki of Brondby has had a strong season in Denmark. Bags of technical ability, comfortable with the ball and shooting off either foot and a set piece threat also. If we have been scouting Kvistgaarden, Suzuki should definitely be on our radar.

We were linked with him whilst he was still in Japan on a number of occasions, particularly around when he went to Strasbourg on loan.

Hes now being linked with Feyenoord and Ajax. Now would be the time if it were to happen. Seems highly rated and time to improve further

I know right back isn’t the most pressing position to upgrade and I get we would have struggled to get close to the wages Southampton are offering but I see they’re close to signing Sugawara from AZ for £6m.

Could end up being a * steal that.

People will say he's no a priority signing but he is for me..

I'd have him playing plenty of football for us straight away as well. He's 100% ready in my opinion..

I liked the look of his ball carrying when we were linked and wanted us to get him..

17 years old with over 40 first team appearances in the top league in the country.

He absolutely needs to be signed. This is the sort of signing where O’Dea should be getting involved. Speak to the player, lay out a couple of different pathways for him and where we see him in the future. This should be done with all clubs, actually.

Think it’s likely we will see Lawal involved this season and it’s came off the back of a very successful loan down in League One.

Absolutely. Pull out the stops and show him the pathway, it's right infront of him..

Problem with Lawal is it probably means another to contend with in that deep lying role that our captain already holds..

He has to be nabbed though. Don't care..

We won't sign Lennon Miller, unfortunately.

    Can't say I'm overly surprised..

Stock ans interest high from elsewhere. Should've tried to nab him as early as possible..

Another who left our academy :87:

Motherwell want a fee over and above what we paid for Turnbull. Can't see us going for it right now.

I think he will still be at Motherwell next season tbh.

He's a special talent, looked Motherwells best player multiple times last season.

He's far better than the likes of Holm, Iwata etc so he'd easily get gametime for us.

I'm still backing Holm to come good and surprise many..

    Miller looks class though.
