If Peer Koopmeiners is anything like his brother I would have him in a second. I remember when we played Alkmaar his brother stood out as quality, physical, strong in the tackle and air and a brilliant range of passing.

 

Funny you mention this, Dennis Praet and Iheanaco both contracts expiring on June 30th.

I would be seriously exploring the Praet option, excellent technical player which you can never have too many of. 30 years old so certainly not past it.

 

Yeah for me would rather spend a little bit fire in wages to get him over Idah , dunno how him and rodgers got on but an history with them there could maybe work in our favour , him and tangana would be really two good signings for free and would allow us to have a good outlay elsewhere in the team.

How would he not have grew up with Henrik as an Idol? I'm 31 and certainly grew up with him as my idol

 

I doubt he seen him play as much, he’d have been twelve odd when Henrik legt us

 

He's a year older than me and I grew up watching football since I was prob about 5. I'm sure a Swedish boy watched him plenty with that big an interest in football he became professional. He would have to be into football alot before he's 12 to have made it. Henrik played in world cup and euros squads and scored for them in these tournaments. Going to barca and winning champions league then ending up at man utd too.
