Young Ramsay from Aberdeen is going to be a cracking right back. Think we should defo be buying and looking to loan him back immediately. Very comfortable on the ball, quick. Keep an eye on him.

 

Agree also like Ryan hedges scored two goals tonight and could do a job for us if Christie goes .

Barkas can go for whatever money we can get for him. He's no better than Bain who will be on considerably less wages. He is an international so we'll get more for him in the transfer market than Bain would reach. I'd get Siegrist on a free or minimal fee in January to cover Hart. Hazard I'd keep for the colts just in case any injuries. Bain sold/released next summer.

For whatever reason, it looks like we're getting Couto on loan from City soon enough. I'm not against the move but would like Juranovic in. Hopefully we go back in for him at a later date. Big congratulations to Ralston who has a place at the club but I'd still like two more right backs that are better than him. It's a high priority area right now though as we have nothing behind Ralston, which is a worry. I'd like two right backs in front of Ralston this time next year.

I think we'll see a loan signing here. I hope that we have a buy option at the end of it though and I think Itakura or Davies would be tremendous for us. I'd like another center back in by this time next summer.

IMO we're one light but can see us saving here as other areas are much more of a priority. I'd bite your hand off for McCann. He'd suit us to the ground. Id sell Bitton in a heartbeat. I know we have a few youngsters (Henderson, Robertson etc). Loan them out. Christie to sign a new deal or be replaced. I hope he stays.

I know I have Christie down as a center mid because that's where he'd probably suit our system better under Ange. He's just so versatile with his engine and deliveries. We need two left wingers brought into the club come 2022/23 season.

Edouard is gone and hopefully replaced with Henry. Ajetti isn't good enough and will be gone by this time next year. Griffiths as a person shouldn't be anywhere near our club, even before we talk about his professionalism or talent. This will be Griffiths' last year at Celtic but I'd love for us to use him in a deal for Nisbet. I can't see it though, unfortunately.

I know to have three players for one position in some areas may seem excessive but I honestly think if we're to maximise Ange's game plan, we're gonna need bodies. His game plan is so high tempo that we're going to have burnouts if not. They'll all play their part of the season in four competitions.

I actually think Luca Connell could play very well in the style we play at LB

 

He's never had a look in. Ever. Under two or three different managers.

Would love us to make a move for him but Ange will no better than anyone if he’s good enough for us.

 

Daizen? Played OK on the right wing for Japan U-23, but we have 2 good players there right now.

 

Based on our last Japanese import, I'm up for buying the whole J-League.

 

Maeda tends to play off the left or through the middle for Yokohama Marinos much like Kyogo did at Vissel Kobe.

He’s not at the level of Kyogo, I wouldn’t say although he is a few years younger. His style of play is similar, he is very quick, with good movement and a decent finisher.

Another one worth keeping an eye on but is earlier in his development is Ryotaro Araki and Kashima Antlers but probably more for the future as he is only 19 and is either right sided or a ST.

 

For now I would be getting Gary Cahill in on a free.

 

There are still some good free agents out there that could help boost our squad. One whose under the radar a bit but could be a good fit Ali Adnan. He has Serie A experience and was doing well at Vancouver Whitecaps until a visa issue caused by them having to relocate to Utah for the 2021 MLS season due to COVID. He’s very quick a decent height at 6ft, has good delivery and good stamina to play in Ange’s system.

Nicolas N’Koulou would be an experienced ball playing centre back although he isn’t the tallest.

Also if we wanted more options in midfield to share the workload either Oriol Busquets or Jandro Orellana who have fallen victim to the Barca wage cap issues could be good players in an Ange team particularly Busquets.
