    Hopefully we go nowhere near Tierney. Isn't fit enough to play the amount of games we play and if we end up spending £7m+ on a left back to then have to watch Greg Taylor play half the season I'll greet

    Would quite like to see the club go down the route of finding an experienced campaigner to replace Joe Hart in Goal. Was having a look at back up goal keepers at some big clubs at the right stage in their career and David De Gea popped up. 33 year old without a club for nearly a year now but still undoubtedly a class act.
    Did some digging and apparently he's settled in the north of England and several years at Utd have left him financially comfortable to say the least. If he still has ambitions to play then why not Celtic? Could he get more money elsewhere, no doubt, but If that was his sole motivation I think he would already be in Saudi Arabia.

    Was his issue at man utd not to do with fact he could play out from the back?

    Class keeper but I reckon Rodgers will want someone capable of using his feet too

    I know this is last week or so, but we need better quality players brought in to help improve the players we've got already.

    Not lesser players to be improved by the players we have.

    We need to be signing better than we have. Not worse.

    Don't have a specific player to mention, but we definitely need, amongst the recruitment, a dead ball specialist. Some one that can take a free kick and place a penalty. Mental how many penalties we missed and lack of free kicks that went to waste.

    Watching the Southampton game and wondering if David brooks might be a players that Rodger’s would look to bring to us , on loan from Bournemouth so probably available at a good fee , remember him when Bournemouth signed him and he looked a good player

    This guy is in Hollands provisional squad. 28 year old sparta Rotterdam no1.

    Probably won't stay in it but it suggests he's had a good season.
