Is he? He's only started 13 games for them this season. Idah has started 15 games.

 

Some strikers who have moved this window, for a fee between £4m and £10m(£6.8m fee for Idah apparently) and haven't joined a team in a top 5 league.

Fran Navarro- Joined Olympiakos on loan from Porto. He signed with Porto in the summer for £6.3m.. hasn't worked out for him but he had an excellent record in Portugal before, with Gil Vicente. Scored 37 goals in 78 games for them. He's already scored 3 goals in 5 games in Greece. The loan fee was £250k... crazy.

Faris Moumbagna- Joined Marseille from Bodo for £7m. Just off the back of a really strong season for Bodo where he scored 24 goals and registered 9 assists in 48 games. At 23 years old, plenty of time to develop and grow. Marseille would have been difficult to beat to the signing, admittedly.

Georges Mikhautadze- Georgian striker who joined Ajax from Metz in the summer for £14m. He's just re-joined Metz on loan, where he had an excellent record in the Ligue 2 last season, helping them get promoted back to Ligue 1. 26 goals and 10 assists in 45 games. He's still only 23 and Metz have an option to buy him back for £10m after the loan deal. He's already scored 2 goals and had an assist in 5 games in Ligue 1.

 

He isnt favoured and is being linked with a loan move away.

 

Copenhagen also signed Magnus Mattson from NEC Nijmegen for just £4m

Another we should have been all over. Scored 11 goals and got 4 assists in 19 games in the Eredivisie this season from midfield.

We don't know player like that exist. We are too busy dicking about in the Korean 2nd division looking for guys who can't even stand out amongst the mediocrity at St Mirren

 

Yep we would rather spend that money divided between Yang, Kwon & Tilio.

 

£4m and if it wasn't for the fact Yang is sitting on his * at Asian cup, then it's likely none of them would be here 6 months after signing. As it is he'll come back as 5th/6th choice winger and be lucky to make the bench at all between now and end of the season.

Said it before but I find it remarkable a board that are so * tight continually waste so much money on * like this. You would think surely at some point they would hold their hands up and say we've not got a * clue what we are doing, let's leave the football department to football people even if it's just to stop themselves blowing £4m every summer on duds.

 

They’ll pat theirselves on the back so much for the likes of VVD, Dembele, Teirney, Wanyama ect and rightly so but forget that we’re actually at a loss with the amount of failed signings. If Turnbull is away why not put in a 2-3 million bid for Watson at Kilmarnock, replaces him in the squad and has more potential

 

What's the deal with David de Gea? Why is he still without a club? Do you guys think we could potentially afford him? Theoretically, I believe we can still sign him cause he's a free agent.

 

No chance

He was on 350k a week at Man Utd and i doubt he will be short of options. Probably can’t be arsed anymore and has enough money in the bank to retire.

 

Mentioned him before but that Mika Biereth who was in loan at Motherwell from Arsenal is now on loan at Sturm Graz and has 2 goals in 2 games for them. Maybe something we should visit in the summer when his loan ends
