Seeing we have been linked with bringing in another striker I hope we are having a look at Akor Adams from Lillestrom in Norway. He is a unit of a guy at 6’3 and is quick.

Has got 7 in 7 and 1 assist this season. He was off to a good start last season but had a shoulder injury that kept him out. When first looking at him I thought he was a bit of just a big target man that gets on the end of things in the box like Giakoumakis does and limited otherwise but is actually not a bad dribbler and pretty good at holding the ball up and bringing others into the game not to mention got a good shot on him from outside the box.

The first video shows some of his all round game and the second is his goals this season.

From watching videos from a season ago he seems to have adapted his game to get chances now in better positions in and around the 6 yard box. He is also an obvious threat at set plays.

@Wllm had suggested a South Korean U-20 CB a week or so ago. I'm now suggesting the partner of that guy. Seok-hyeon Choi is having a blast at the World Cup. Scored last night's winner against Nigeria (scored against Ecuador the game before, too), and was imperious at the back.

    Plays for a university team.

Maybe not the right time for a player suggestion the now but looking at the Bodo team admist the Knutsen chat I think this guy looks not bad. 8 in 9 for them in the league the now. Faris Pemi Moumbagna. Only 22 aswell.

Getting ahead of myself, but IF we get Iraola, I'd love to see us go for Stole Dimitrievski.

Would be a bit of a coup if we got him, but would sort our GK position for years. Been excellent for Rayo. Would probably cost upwards of £8 million but with our current balance + potential player sales, these are the sort of signings we should aim for.

I know it's Incredibly lazy and boring.

But would there be any realistic signings from the recently relegated EPL teams we could snap up?

I wouldn’t mind Axel Tuanzebe on a free as a 3rd choice centre back different play style to CCV and Starfelt

Over inflated wages with any of those players, even with some.of.the contractual pay cuts tahts you hear of woth some, for example Stuart Armstrong would still be on over 40k at that, I'd take him in the squad fits Homegrown etc, but he's 31 and would be too expensive wage wise, if he'd take 15k sure he'd fit as an option I think, but I'd also like more dynamism than him in the midfield too

I'm sure Leicester have the biggest percentage drop for player wages in Premier League history after relegation.

75% or something. Obviosly, many of them would have been moving on anyways but there could be a couple of players there that we could convince to come up here. Unlikely though.

Yeah see, I'm showing my ignorance to the English game but I was thinking maybe the young Leeds Keeper might have been an option.

Or depending on manager we get, I could see us trying to sign Che Adams, who, while limited, I feel would offer a somewhat rougher and more physical option should we have a guy that knows how to adapt his gameplan.

Of course we already have Oh who showing a world of promise but I thought Adams might also help with being a Scottish International and meeting certain quotas.

But again, holding my hands up, I'm showing my naivety here about what is realistic or better yet, actually good enough for Celtic

Che Adams doesn't help with Homegrown, he's an English Homegrown player, being a Scotland international doesn't matter for that.

Think the rumours are he's pretty close to signing for Everton already.

Meh, * it, I thought as much.

Will be interesting to see the type of manager we go for, if it ends up being a guys like Lennon or Rodgers who have spent a lot of time in the UK game I can see them trying to shop a lot down south.

If we can find someone with a bit more world experience I would hope they branch out more really, I'm sure no doubt there is talent to be had I the EFL leagues but it can't be the only place we shop which is where I feel we'd end up going if we get that mould of manager like Lennon or Rodgers

Celtic chat is doing my head in(no one in particular, just the constant change in who could get the managers gig)

Been scouting for some players we could do with and 3 or 4 have caught my eye in the lower leagues of Germany and France.

Georges Mikautadze- The obvious choice for me, if we were to lose Kyogo in the summer. 22 years old, Georgian International. Valued at £6m. Playing for Metz in Ligue 2. 40 appearances for Metz, 24 goals and 9 assists. Looks an absolute baller.

Neils Nkounkou- Left Back for St Etienne. Disappointed because I see he's already agreed a move to Everton in the summer. 26 appearances for St Etienne, 6 goals and 8 assists from Left Back. 20 years old. Looks the real deal.

Arouna Sangate- Senegalese CB, playing for Le Harve. 21 years old. Made 35 appearances for Le Harve last season. Managed to chip in with 3 goals and 2 assists. He's big, quick and good with the ball at his feet.

Immanuel Pherai- 22 year old AM from Eintracht Braunschweig. 29 games last year, scoring 10 goals and 7 assists for a pretty poor team who finished 15th out of 18 in the second tier of Germany. Came through the Dortmund youth ranks and highly regarded.

Suggested Mikautadze a couple weeks back. I'd like him in even if we don't lose Kyogo.

There is some cracking players in Ligue 2.

To add to the list above Mohamed Kaba of
Valenciennes, a 21 year old tank of a centre midfielder who has a bit of everything to his game. Reminds me of Ntcham when he was playing well but better defensively too. Got 5 goals and 4 assists in 32 games despite mainly being used as a defensive midfielder.

Jean Phillipe Krasso from Saint Etienne is a 26 year old centre forward but reminds me a lot of a left footed version of Edouard. Good composure on the ball likes to drop into the right and drive in on his left foot. Has great close control and composure on the ball.

Formose Mendy, 22 year old Senagalese centre back playing for Amiens. He is tall has good pace and is reasonably good on the ball. Also already been capped by Senegal.

Rassoul Ndiaye, 21 year old centre midfielder for Sochaux is another who has been doing well.

Lastly Paris FCs 25 year old right winger Morgan Guilavogui who can play anywhere across the front 3. Got 15 goals and 3 assists in 31, plays that wide forward role well in getting into the box and on the end of things.
