    it was close between wilson and forster but opted for forster simply because of his performances in the champions league games

    Also surprised to see Sammy out in front,he had a great run of form in Europe but been mediocre in the SPL.The 2 players that stand out for me are Fraser Forster and Kelvin Wilson,apart from FF form since his injury they've both been consistently class all season.Went for Wilson.

    Between Forster and Wanyama for me.

    both have been a bit off form lately, but you can't forget their contribution all season.

    Forster just shades it for me though.

    Big Sammi. Have stood by him thick and thin. Thought we would lose him about two years ago and said to a fellow supporter if he went he would probably be tearing up the Italian league in a few years. Glad he chose to stay.

    How people are voting for Samaras is beyond me, been poor domestically. Only players that have been outstanding in Europe and at home are Wilson and Forster.

    The biggest disapointentment this season has been Hooper or Izzy .Hooper had a brilliant first half of the season but has gone off the boil the last 3 months so hopefully he will score a hat trick today .

    forster. Nobody remember his run of form at the start of the season? Penalty save against hearts, long run of clean sheets before that? Champions league? up until his injury he was fantastic.

    I know he's been injured abit this season but Scott brown for me has really justified his price tag in his performances this season and really improved both technically with his first touch and passing which was woeful once upon a time and his leadership since being captain really drives the team on and the reckless side of him has gone also when you thought he'd get sent off at any minute,a real leader 110% at all times!

    Wanyama and hooper both had excellent seasons but tend to seem to be happy to stroll through games aswell not whole heartedly in my opinion and more so hooper...
    Ledley had a very good season and so has Wilson who has come on leaps and bounds but reason he's not 1st is the lapse in concentration he suffered at times,cuts that out top player...
    Sammy great season particularly in Europe,real talisman at times but some spl games can't be arsed!

    Scott brown tops it on overall improvement and sheer 110% effort,doesn't tolerate the slackers!

    Sammy has made a major contribution in the Champions League this season but not really done much domestically. Then again, I don't think any of our players have stood out this year unlike previous years - Wanyama last year, Commons the year before etc.

    Wilson has been great for most of the season, Forster was up until his injury.

    I'd probably go for Wilson.
