    i dont think caldwell will get recognised on this vote, shame cos he deserves it, the vast improvement since last year is outstanding
    hinkel has been magnificent for us this season as well
    scott brown will probly win it

    Toss a coin between Brown and Caldwell....
    Both players have been class this season but Caldwell just shades it for me but theres 12 games or so to go plenty of time for Brown to change my mind...

    Celtic player of the year has only got 3 contenders-

    Brown - has been more like the player we thought we signed last season and will continue to get better. I think there is a lot more to come from him.

    Naka - obviously his hattrick today was great but what i've really noticed about him was during the hampden game against Dundee Utd and last weeks game against Motherwell, both on awful pitches, he was the class act. Hasn't scored as many free-kicks this year but has got more from open play i think.

    Caldwell - neither he or Mick have outstanding skills but he has been rock solid, even when being played in midfield. I hope he is in the team for the next decade. It just shows that you have to persevere with some players becasue what they show on the training ground is not what they are doing on the park. Well done WGS for having faith in him when none of us armchair experts did.

    I don't know whether i'd give it to Caldwell or Naka, but it would be one of those two. I'd like to see a Scottish centre half get it but i also think it would be nice for Naka to get it as a going away present.

    Obvious contenders would be Brown and then Caldwell but for a darkhorse i would say naka for having another outstanding year imo and i wish he stays because the man from japan is irreplacable. :icon_mrgreen:

    I have enjoyed the performances of both Brown and Caldwell but i'd give it to Brown just because of what he's came back from with his sister last summer and I think he's been that wee bit better than Caldwell although Caldwell is right up there, it's close.
