    We will be spending like recent years...to a max of £2-3m on any one player id say.

    We wont be able to attract the players the fans want. Thats long established.

    Rangers dont have any debt apparently....its our fans that obsess about rangers state...whilst not really knowing.

    i feel we have some real quality players within our team, i think the problem lies with Lennon and his coaching tactics.
    not enough experience, and how to turn a game around when teams set up a wall and defend.

    Mate...the board dont invest their personal wealth in the club...you do know that dont you??? Desmond the major shareholder aside..

    If you want to be taken seriously look at the club balance sheet and tell me where the income outstrips exepnditure...then we can talk about the board penny pinching....the income includes all the tickets bought...everything..

    I am happy for them to spend what we can afford....the board will take care of that...

    I agree with you on this.

    Whenever I hear news of the Huns' impending doom at the hands of the taxman or some other monetary grim-reaper, I just ignore it.

    I've been hearing it for nearly 3 years now, and they're still here.

    It's getting beyond boring.

    Lennon has had the team playing well IN THE SPL, well the rest of Europe put scottish football in it's place tonight.....the * doldrums.
    this will take millions of pounds of investment and years to recover from this humiliation.

    Too many too mention mate. Trying looking at similar clubs across europe with similar turnover and average season ticket.

    Actually, you may want to look at clubs with smaller turnover and see how they operate. Try the Spanish, German, Italian and, seeing as you mentioned it, the English League. Everton are a poor example, they are * financially because Kenwright wont allow new buyers in. But good example, its maybe one you can pass onto Peter when you see him.

    So you are happy for the board to spend what they see fit, but not for fans to suggest they spend?? Thats an interesting, and quite narrow viewpoint you have there.

    You have managed to mention NO clubs with a similar income....thats not turnover btw.

    German, english, spanish and italian clubs arent comparable due to their tv revenue for 1..
