if there is no response to this that is pretty * inept.

I am willing to accept that they thought this team could win their europa qualifier, but failing to act beyond this is pretty bad.

I understand you are upset but can you support your point that clubs all across europe are investing millions in players....who that are comparable to Celtic on income and what are they spending exactly?

Agreed. The board should be able to expect that team to beat sion...the blame lies firmly at the manager and players.

I bet Dermot Desmond doesn't even know the score.. he'll be playing Golf with Bill Clinton or something, puffing on a big cigar. Does anyone else think it might be time for something fresh, some new ideas.. Whats the point in sitting on a personal fortune of so many Billion if you just sit there watching your toy asset throw away title after title and European horror show after European Horror show.. * sake man.. you will never want for anything in your life Desmond, were all working average Jobs paying top dollar for this pish and struggling on with our lives.. .. He must be laughing actually.. He doesnt need to deliver success just a nice balance sheet and a tidy dividend because at the end of the day, who needs to bother taking risks when you have muggins here, the faithful celtic support.. emptying there pockets year after year regardless. We are the gift that keeps on giving for these guys.. can you imagine a company that produced dross constantly but the punters just lapped it up, you would be laughing all the way to the bank. We need to get rid of this shower.. they dont deserve us

Get off the boards back. Lennon never changed anything tonight. He must take blame for playing donkeys like Samaras and Majstorovic.

I think you will be surprosed that he will know fine well....its one of many toys he has. He is not a sugar daddy, never has been never will be. Hes clearly stated his position. His personal wealth has never been the issue...only for the fans.

He has ploughed in millions over the years and taken zip

I never thought I'd say this but its about time we stop the "faithful through and through" and act. Investments haven't been made and tonight will be yet another excuse for the board not to dip into their pockets. How much more of this can we take?

No...not against a team like Sion...we should have buried them at parkhead. You dont plough millions in to cover a tie against Sion.

We have invested the sum total of £900k on a side that wasnt good enough to win the SPL title last season, yet our board expects us to have a side that is able to compete in Europe?? Are you serious??

Our annual turnover is £50m a season, we have one of the biggest home supports in Europe and yet you pander to what our board says.

If we are unable to invest in our side to the level of clubs that have less turnover and have less home support then I would be asking that board why not. Why are they unable to invest in our side.

And please spare me the financial rhetoric. Its * bullshit. Football is not a business. If our board are in it to make money then there is a conflict of interest. The fans, ie us, want titles, or at least a side that can make a fist of it.

We can spend a few million on bringing quality in. We can sustain a small amount of debt. This is unacceptable at the moment.

The board must be absolutely delighted right now. They have their excuse not to spend money.

if the board want to continue with there financial constraints we would be as well going part time .you cant expect fans to pay 600 pounds for season tickets to watch that tonight we couldnt beat any team in europe playing like that not even shamrock rovers .shame on the board and everyone who thinks its ok to rip people of because that is what they are doing at the moment

Not over the last decade if you look at it BUT...lennon and the team let us down at the end last season...the title was in our grasp.

Your missing the point though we never buried them and if anything tonights performance only reiterates that celtic cannot take any team for granted.

Where does the money come from?

I'm just trying to get my head round where fans think this money is coming from
