Yes it is. Thats his personal fortune, nothing to do with celtic. He has ploughed in millions, thats why i have defended him...nobody else out there looking to gewt in and help us is there??

We have made mistakes....like TM...takes time to recover...plough money in and it fails it doesnt mean you can then plough millions more in to fix it...fail again and you end up in dire straits.

We should have won the league last season. I dont blame the board for that.

They got offered cash for wilson and held onto him out of spite...not playing him after he was a regular...Celtic tried to get him. That was well documented due to him signing pre contract for us.

    WE are an average team

depressing stuff tonight, what worries me most is that it took 70 minutes of a powder puff lacklustre display before Lennon decided to make a change. You'd have thought it was us defending a lead the way we sat back off them for the game, for their 2nd goal, only Kayal reacts in time, rest of them asleep, why on earth select samaras if he's gonna be played on left wing, why not play eh...a fooking left winger. surely to * the game was crying out for us to have some pace out there to stretch their defence.

we have just lost a fortune by going out of europe and people want us to get the cheque book out............

is that you mr whyte? you wanting us too?

we have a budget like everyone else, get used to it, stop thinking of potential signings from the prem, they are all too dear we can only sign on the cheao, if ya dont like it away and support man city or chelsea and ya can have whoever ya want

peter lawel is one of the best things to happen to this club in the last 20 years!

compare our spending to the team that is apparently "on their knees", we should be spending more than £1m a season on transfers.

Sion dont spend money. They are full of average players who will never play for clubs some our players get to. We have internationals in our team who should be pumping that team.

The boy wasnt offered a deal. Thats what his agent said...he never mentioned he was out of our budget. Hes pish too....thats what makes it worse

That club are not on their knees though....a myth....mostly created by Celtic fans to be fair lol

We brought in plenty players last season and should have won the league...i blame the players and lennon for that. We should have won against sion last week...and st johnstone...players again let the club and fans down....well capable and had the chances

We've lost out on *-all financially. Europa league is *.

The point is, if we don't invest now, and invest well, we will be left behind for a long time.

And for the most part, we went out of Europe, embarrassed - again - because of the tight-fistedness of the board.

You have to speculate to accumulate, and this is becoming more of a reality every year.

What's the point of getting into Europe with the potential to make some money, only to get dumped out by poor teams because we won't spend any of it?

    * the balance sheet. We're football fans, not money fans.

    by who??

we should have won last season....anyone can say its won and lost over a season but the fact was celtic could have won the league if they had beaten inverness...a few games and it was ours...we had far better players than the opposition...the team blew it....they let the club down....like the weekend and tonight

Sion wouldnt have a look in on Ki, Kayal, Commons, Hooper or Izzy...

All across Europe teams are spending millions and investing in getting in the quality of player that is going to be a credit to our side.

Tonight the board have cheated the paying fans. I am a season ticket holder and a shareholder and I want our club to be a better side than the one we have at the moment. I am not prepared to sit silently by and accept mediocrity. Some fans can, if thats what they want. If they are satisfied with no titles and * performances in Europe then fine. Im not.

Peter Lawell is a * joke. An executive that gets a bonus based on how well we do financially is going to be at odds with the quality on the park. And Dermott Desmond can get himself to *. He is a shareholder no more and no less. Pound for pound I invest more into the club than he does. I dont have a big wage but I spend a large portion of it on my ST, merchandise along with my shares. He hogs the limelight and basks in the glory of being on the board but he wont help our club move forward. For me, he is no better than a waste of a seat on the board.

The silence from Lawell over the next few days will be deafening. Where we would accept action ,they will wait till the storm blows over.

I feel sorry for Neil. He has built a good side last season and out board has cheated him and us by failing to build on it by bringing in the quality that we need.

I am very upset at what is happening at our club. This is not a knee * reaction either. I have been saying since the season started that we are in need of quality. Tonight has been coming for me. Very upset.
