Is anyone else annoyed by the amount of * from England coming out the wood work to slate the Scottish league because we are so far ahead?
I wonder if * like Jason Cunty,Andy Townsend,Adrian Durham,Robbie Savage to name but a few would be saying anything if it was the huns at the top.
All these * were crying for the tribute act to get promotion as they said the Scottish league was lost without them,and now all of a sudden seeing how * they are they are saying the league is bad and not giving teams respect who are above them.

No I'm not * off, it's just the same old recycled garbage. Our league isn't great but it's not some pub league level that some make it out to be.
Yes we're far ahead but that's only testament to the great job Rodgers has done since coming in. His recruitment has been spot on, his man management, motivation and tactical skills have been exemplary.StPauli1916, Aidan O’Shea, and 7 others like this. -
It always seems to be said during international week wen we have young players looking to get their first taste ,where their value would go up if the did ,so it really keeps their value lowered so English teams can benefit from this scenario .

@venividivici I know what your saying and agree whole heartedly, as I always answer that jibe with - it takes professionalism, desire and a level of ability to literally be flawless i.e. undefeated and win the treble in a given season. Our league is * but i don't believe we have to play the victim card. Its nothin to do with huns being so far behind. If they were 30 points in front of us, it would still be a * league.

They are playing to the galleries as all talkshows do. Saying controversial things and watch the callers stream in and ratings shoot up. If you, like me, couldn't give a monkey's * what these 2 have to say then don't tune in and pay attention to it.

I would consider the opinion of those if I knew they even watched any of the games. Its easy to slag Scottish Football and for the record its not great to watch at all. Scottish Football has also done little to alter that opinion. These guys heids are so firmly entrenched in the English League, they don't see any other football. They have the audacity to slate other leagues. Yet in two European competitions the supposed "best league in the world" has 2 teams left between the competitions.
I listen to TSFP Podcast by Sid Lowe(Spanish Football Journalist) and Phil Kitromeledes(works for Real Madrid TV). They often highlight the hypocrisy of English journalists with regards to the esteem English Football is held compared to football around Europe.
I wouldn't waste my time with the likes of Townsend and Co. Just mouthpieces.StPauli1916, , and 1 other person like this. -

Do these individuals ever talk about Welsh or Irish club football? Or is it just Scottish football that is *. Especially coming from a Welsh man like Savage. Scottish football isn't great but this is a small country with very limited resources.

Scotland has the highest attended league per capita in the whole of Europe. If you compare the Scottish premiership with the other top leagues in countries with around 5m people, how many would have a better league than us? Not many I bet. The Scottish league isn't great but it isn't as bad as made out to be, we do well for our size.

It's essentially a load of people criticising something they don't even watch, except occasionally the odd big game. As always, it's great to see them squirm and eat their words when a Scottish team beats or does well against an English team.neilly1987 likes this. -
What these people forget is , we are a country with a population of just over 5 million , for a country of our size we actually have a pretty good league, i also couldnt give a flying * what any englishman has to say about us.
