    It's rather disingenuous to refer to Billy Connolly as "a comedian", as he's clearly much more than that.

    The man is a Scottish institution, and is certainly just as deserving of a statue as some of the characters we currently have in George Square.

    I'm not even going to mention the statue in Buchanan street.
