In that article he basically admits he never did his job.

    Embarrassing quotes from him.

Revelling in the fact that he didn’t do his job properly.

People say downsizing has begun that’s a natural one imo to date with Brendan and his cohorts leaving and all the out of contract players costs down 20% already come 1st July

The problem is that there are no fans protesting and demanding his resignation.

Aye but if we had only speculated a bit more we could have won the CL a couple of times as well as multiple EL wins also.

“We had approaches from many, many agents, many representatives of managers across the board. How credible it was, you never really know. We put them in the file, just left it and kept our word to Neil, really.“ PL

I * hope that’s not how our search for a new manager went ffs maybe he’s just trying to make lemon feel like he was first choice, but come on not even looking at other options?

    Edit: Lennon :84:

There is only one thing that can stop us getting the 10.

    Him.

If he does, then he's out of a job as fan backlash will be horrendous and we will have years worse than when Ronnie was here financially.

    No major rebuild needed?

    Really Pedro? You sure?

    First team right back
First team centre half with another back up or raw project
    Back up left back
Holding type midfield (if you never * penny pinched we would have McGinn)
    Starting left winger
And Lennon has stated that he wants another forward.

Don’t get me wrong I think Bain has done well coming in but that’s a position we can massively improve on.

Another thing we need to looking at someone replacing Brown in the next two seasons, as in get them in sooner rather than later, again I’ve spoke about this before McGinn would have done this.

Why I’m now expecting is new deals for Izzy and Lustig, the latter will be our first choice right back.

Benkovic or another loan player and Jack Hendry being used more.

Free transfer or raw project at centre mid

    Sinclair staying and starting again

Gary Hooper being our forward signing.

I maybe being a bit cynical towards Lawwell and the board but then again I’m going with the last 4 or possibly 5 windows.......

    Long * summer ahead.

Moussa Dembele was also one of our top earners, how have the wages freed up since he left 9 months ago been reinvested?

Rodgers & the backroom staff left 3 months ago, freeing over £60k a week collectively. How has that been reinvested?

(Rhetorical questions not directed at you btw)- but the very idea we're downsizing having freed up so much money over the last 12 months, with so much income on top of it, shouldn't even be allowed to be considered imo.

Who has signed new contract since he left?

Ajer, Ntcham and Forrest am sure there is where part of Moussa wages have went along with Burke, toljan, Weah and Bayo wages!

It’s actually over £100k a week with Rodgers and all his staff leaving (reportedly) it hasn’t and won’t be that will be part of the reduction in outgoings.

The wage bill has to be cut and it will be it was unsustainable in the board opinion that is clear.

It’s frightening the amount of money that’s come into the club in the last year alone without champions league football.

The saving on player and staff wages come the summer and the pot of cash burning a whole in the accounts as well.

Every summer we have zero net spend and yet Lawwell and co always say we want to come out each window stronger......

It’s not been the case for the last 2 windows with Rodgers, in fact I would say 4 if you want to include not bringing in starting 11 defenders. (No not a loan deal either)

The playing squad has regressed, anyone who says it hasn’t is talking out their *. (Rhetorically speaking)

So the 100k per week of wages gone with Rodgers and co isn't enough, we need to cost cut MORE? How * mental is that.

I suppose he brings this kind of insult on himself.

All we need now is someone to call him TLB

Totally agree with you it is * mental then add another £80k - £100k a week with all the contracts coming to an end in the summer.

De Vries, Lustig, Gamboa, Allan, Boyata, Izzy and am sure there is a few more out of contract. Then try and get Compper £18k a week out the door aswell.

Celtic confirmed in February we had met our financial targets for the season so anything received since then is over and above projected!

Lawwell LTIP will still get paid no matter what though

It’s frightening is the term for it 100%.

But we can’t be negligent towards the business as a whole. You won’t throw money at something you don’t need too and that’s the board plans.

You will get fans who also say you can’t play with the clubs long term health.

Thing is if you need to sell assets we have plenty!

I just don’t buy the need to cut the costs as much!

You're sitting hoping, over the past few weeks, that the board are working hard to get the right man in to drive us forward and make us a modern progressive outfit. Then you read that pile of * drivel.
