I hope he enjoyed listening to their pish today, will it bother him? I doubt it. But he better start doing a bit more seeing as he’s our highest earner.

Our striker cost more than their club and full team are worth so it's not all down to not spending.

Our players were fuking gutless and pish poor today and that's it.

Brendan leaving the way he did took the heat right off this * tbh.
His complacency cost us players like John Mcginn in the summer, over sums of half a milion quid.
then fans sticking up for Lawwell because our midfield was far too good to be paying that for someone who would sit on the bench.
    That turned out well.

the whole zombie midfield came to £50,000 as three of them were free transfers so just shows if you have good scouting you can get some players on the cheap .

Today has shown the damage that Lawwell and the board has caused by not getting the snakes targets in to be fair.

Time after time with him at the helm we have never ever strengthen from a position of strength. He has * it under various managers and we have handed Oldco titles.

With this damage being done we are currently in a massive transition period and if we don’t get the right manager and player recruitment this summer we are not going to win 9 in a row never mind the 10.

The ball is in Mr Lawwells court, will he * it again and hand them a life line or will he go out and get the right man to take the club forward?

    Only time will tell.

100% agree, it was music to his ears when the snake left. Not everyone has forgotten that it’s down to him we are in this mess.

Rodgers was never gonna stay and be * around over transfers by lawwell ,when we finally get a top manager in its lawell's job to make sure he gets what the he wants .on top of which he should never have let our manager leave in the middle of the season he wouldn't let ronny go mid season when it was clear as * he wasnt up to it .he choose to gamble the 10 in a row for another couple of million sitting in a bank *

I know I should just ignore this post, as its pish, but tell me how exactly was pete the Club supposed to stop br leaving ? Or are you seriously going to say we/they should have simply said no after br made it clear he wanted out, is that honestly what you would recommend the Club had done aye ?

Rodgers left because of the way last summer’s transfer dealings went imo.
That was very much down to Lawwell.
The sneaky way Rodgers left and his general attitude this season took the heat off Lawwell big time.
The snake was the best manager we had since MON and, in my view, more money should have been invested to keep him happy.

br wanted out last summer and he contributed to the shambles that was the transfer window. The only mistake the board made at the time was in not sacking the *.

Rodgers would’ve taken the Leicester job regardless of anything Lawwell or Desmond could’ve done within reason.

Lawwell messed up with McGinn. He shares some responsibility for the general transfer strategy over the past 18 months being a shambles, although I think the bulk of that lies with Rodgers himself.

If the board had given Rodgers the fees we accumulated from transfers to spend I would imagine Rodgers wouldn't have left. It's a valid point that Brendan was fed up with not being able to replace the quality that left us .

Not using this to defend Brendan, I cannot bring myself to do that. Am just backing up the idea that the board didn't back Brendan enough
