Let's not pretend that PL isn't part of the problem.

He's the issue in that he doesn't give a * what's going on and continually appoints similar people like himself to positions of power.

Such a strange coincidence. What was is? Tripple signings etc if I remember correctly. Like 9 in a Window. I defended PL when he got back but not anymore. Its obvious he is the biggest problem . The board calls him when they want THE MAN for tightening budgets

Had a quick Google of it, when McKay was here and Lawwell wanst we signed the following in that window:

    Shaw
    Uroghide
    Abada
    Starfelt
    Kyogo
    Hart
    McCarthy
    Juaranovic
    Scales
    Giakoumakis
    Jota
    CCV

It could be argued only 3/12 signings during this time were failures - McCarthy, Shaw and Uroghide. Even then, I am sure we got profit on Uroghide. The rest either made an immediate impact or did further down the line.

Honestly believe that Dom McKay had a vision of operating that the board initially bought into then absolutely * the bed when things started to move quickly.

I know we didn't make huge profits off mckays signings but we still made profit on them. Really wish Desmond has the stones to stand by McKay all the way and keep Lawwell out the building. Convinced we would have kicked on under that set up

See all this "Peter Lawwell wasn't here the year we signed this one and that one"

Are you all actually SO gullible to think that between the times tbat Peter Lawwell announced he was "stepping down" as CEO to the his present time as a PLC Chairman that he was literally "away" from the club? He's one of the major shareholders at the club ffs! He'll always have a massive say, and has! Regardless of "role".

Absolutely, but Desmond could step in and actually step up if he could be arsed. Which he can’t unless a couple of huns rip the pish out him.

Desmond isn't gonna step in. Him and lawwell are 2 cheeks of the same *.

The time to step in was summer of 2018 when Lawwell was driving away the best manager we'd had in years, who was absolutely walking it towards 10iar but he didn't and we know how that ended.

If you want one thing that's tells you everything about Desmond and Lawell's lazy, arrogant, incompetent approach to running the sporting side of our club.

Going into Hampden showers after a couple of glasses of fizz and offering Neil Lennon the managers job after we beat a championship club on penalties, as they couldn't be arsed to scout a top drawer replacement - he didn't even accept it immediately such was the shock.
    Enough said.

Haha bit harsh to come at me with 'are you actually SO gullible' but no danger, made me laugh to be fair.

Could easily flip your argument on its head by saying 'are you so gullible to believe that you lose an element of influence when you are not in the building?'

If conversations and meetings were being had without lawwell present then there is every chance we started to operate in a way he would dislike

They all have blame to take.

Nicholson as well. And whoever else is on there. Whoever is complicit in allowing such inept running of the footballing side of a FOOTBALL club.

Agree mate, but he’s the main shareholder, so he can put the pressure on and doesn’t. There’s something absolutely baffling going on. As rich as we have ever been, two dreadful transfer windows and this one looking every bit as bad. Makes no sense. Yes there is a ceiling our club can reach but we seem to have no desire to get closer to it.

Scales, CCV, Jota, GG, Juranovic were all signed in the final week of the window and Jota, CCV and GG were all signed on the final day.

Shaw, Urgohide and McCarthy were basically no mark signings. We are still trying to get rid of 2/3 of them. Well, rumours are that McCarthy has been paid off but still, none of them made it. So, we signed Abada, Hart, Starfelt and Kyogo up to this point 3 years ago. Very good signings, no doubt and pivotal to that window as a whole.

I get it’s not good enough and we should have made signings far quicker but that window is spoken about like it’s some sort of pariah when over 50% of the signings we actually used were signed in the final week.

Nicholson is a * too. Mind he had the guy removed from the stadium when he had a go at him when we got beat off hearts. Only way I thought we would get rid of these dinosaurs is if they sold their shares now it looks like even when they die their spawn will inherit their holdings these * are now worse than the Kelly's

I can't believe so many still repeat that he was gone when he wasn't, when it was reported he was stepping down as CEO it said at the same time he was still keeping his seat on the board, he was never going anywhere, but some just never read past the headline and started popping the champagne like they'd 'won' something, it was riduculous. He was always here.

So do you believe he had the same role when he was a non-executive director as to when he was CEO?
