I literally come home from Celtic games to see you and your cronies have spent the entirety of the game replying to me on here with abuse.

Anyway, start a thread about me. I’m sure I’m not the only one getting fed up of a select few trying to make every thread about me.

As long as nothing changes with the way we have been running the club since Ange came in, I’m not really fussed. It doesn’t look great though, like the jobs for the boys pish.

 

We'll see how it goes over the next two windows. By all accounts January will be a very successful window, assuming we get a replacement for Giakouamkis if he leaves.

It does seem like he'll have far less power in this role, but it doesn't mean I'm happy having the guy around again.

Although you are correct, I’m genuinely baffled as to how our last European knockout win was verging on 19 years ago, and counting, yet many will have you believe his reign was a success.

His calamitous appointments, arrogance in negotiations, and over prudent business strategy are all the main reasons for our embarrassing performances in Europe.

The revenue we have missed out on throughout those years makes my stomach turn. Who knows what we could have achieved without this guy at the front and centre of things?

His time at the club was an abject failure. No amount of skelpings we dished out against Jason Holt and Andy Halliday will ever make up for what he done to us.

 

Think folk need to relax don't think he ever truly left the club think Ange has confirmed a few times he helped get him in and if I'm honest I don't see Nicholson being told what to do

I agree we should've done better, saying his time was an abject failure is pure hyperbole.

 

Don’t know what to make of pistol Pete being back but I am sure many of us fear the worst with the return of the penny pinching ways.

 

I couldn’t disagree more.

We were gift wrapped the easiest opportunity to become as big a club and as a European force as the likes of Ajax or Benfica.

Much easier than their challenge, as they had other teams in their league who were capable of winning it.

Instead, due to his business strategy and managerial appointments, we have been reduced to the punchbags of Europe.

Our stadium has been converted from a cauldron in to a tourist destination for away players and fans.

Teams like Cluj, Maribor and AEK Athens rocking up to Celtic Park and taking upwards of £40million each time from our pockets, is all on him, and the consistently poor decisions he made over his tenure.

 

I would genuinely be up for protesting outside the stadium. Lawell has had his time at Celtic, he did his job well for the most part, then went stale, and everything went * up. He is done and should only be back at Celtic as a fan.

 

Well you're entitled to your opinion. In reality his tenure was incredibly successful.
